It all started because of my long time headcanon that Jughead and Veronica hooked up during the time jump in New York, and I wanted to play with what the tension would be like between them when they came back to Riverdale. ummm i feel weird asking this and maybe i'm crazy but did u rewrite some parts of chap 1? i reread it today bc i thought i'd start from the beginning before u post the last chapter (excited!!) and the scene from 4 years ago where jv hook up for the first time seems like u added some dialogue? the whole shakespeare argument had me on the floor and I don't remember reading it before but it's so good! ignore me if i'm wrong lol

And no, you're not wrong. Lol. I always go back and make little changes to my fics after I post them... sometimes just grammar stuff and sometimes I might change a whole sentence if I think of something better later. In this case, I was having fun writing the j/v banter and wanted to add some more into that first meeting that set everything off for them. I had it in my drafts for a while and thought about working it into a new story but then decided to just update this one because honestly, it's my story and I can?? Anyway I'm so happy you liked it and that you even noticed!! Thanks so much for reading :)

Chapter 9 of twhtalmh is up! We're on the home stretch, babiesssss (read this chapter for more sports metaphors).
This story has been such a journey for me (going from "I'm sticking to canon so no jeronica endgame" to "canon is subjective and how can my babies not end up together after everything i've put them through??") and such a fun writing challenge. It's my first multi chapter fic and therefore the first time I've posted anything without already knowing exactly how it's going to end. There's only one chapter left after this (plus maaaaybe an epilogue) and I think I'm actually going to be sad when it's done because I won't be constantly thinking about what these two are up to.

I have no photoshop skills whatsoever so I'm limited to actual stills from the show but this one works particularly well for this Chapter and this scene is really what inspired this whole fic (although it's not even the most dramatic scene in this chapter).
