Twibite PTFinal
The Necklace brightens, then dims. I feel power deep within the trinket.
Twilight slips the necklace on as the green glow fades to the blue of the stone beneath the light. She feels something surge through her, and the green light in her eyes fades from her vision. Putting it on... She breathes deeply. My true nature is hidden. Only the 'Scars' of infection remain. She looks at her reflection in the window before turning away. Green in her pupils, green sclera. This revelation has her considering things regarding a specific pony she'd been working with in the field. Null... To all who see me, I appear cured. Partly magic from the stone, partly the fact that she looks mostly like her old self. Twilight shakes her feathers, stretches, and waits as she hears a sound outside the lab. Rarity's voice. Who is she speaking to? The guard, maybe. Is she coming to visit? Twilight's heart swells. The door opens. "Twilight?" Rarity calls, sounding nervous. "I heard some noises..." Step, step, step. Closer to her cell. Steady hooves. "Are you alright?" Twilight doesn't answer, standing stock still and waiting. Like a predator for its lured prey. "Hmm..." Rarity sounds unsure, but still she steps closer. "Twilight?" She calls again, then whispers to herself. 'What Am I Doing?!' "Is everything okay?" Then Rarity comes upon her examination window, sees Twilight, sees that she is no longer altered and strange, no longer visibly wrong. "Ah..." Her eyes widen at Twilight's turned back. "Twi...?" She says, awed. "You're..." Twilight smiles, turning her head to Rarity. The smile is genuine. She is happy. "I feel so much Better." Twilight says to her friend, joyful and serene.
