Yeah I mean working on the film is one thing but we don't know the full situation. He might well have complained and been stuck in a contract or something. I don't think the studio would tell people about it because it makes them look bad.

Yeah i know i said i didnt want to make excuses and have Rami speak for himself but you’re right that we dont know everything which is why i dont want to put everything on him. Still need him to speak up tho!

I’ve seen people on Reddit saying Singer’s behaviour may be due to worry that he’s about to get busted for more allegations and the studio doesn’t want to associate with him.. Imo he shouldn’t have been hired and Rami should’ve turned it down when he saw the director.

Hello! Not sure how many of your prompts have been used up but could you do a fic or flash fic Adam K x reader where they kiss when drunk and then aren't sure how the other feels? You write Adam so well! ✨✨

“Hey Y/N,” Peake pulled you aside as everyone else focused on the current game of Overwatch. You were patiently waiting your turn.

“What’s up?” you flashed him a smile as you followed him away from the group. You caught the look on his face and your smile fell as you asked again, now in a different tone, “What’s up?”

Peake didn’t say another word until he suddenly stopped and you could barely hear the murmur of everyone else now. “I figured I should show you this,” he pulled out his phone and hit play on the phone.

You took the phone from him and instantly recognizing the video of a drunk round of MarioKart. You looked closer for something you might be missing but you didn’t have to because the video zoomed over and you could see your drunk self with a very inebriated Adam behind everyone, making out.

“Is this public?” you asked quickly shoving the phone back to Peake.

He shook his head no, “Don’t worry I cut it from the version that’s going up for the fans.”

“And Adam?” you questioned, knots forming in your stomach.

He shook his head again, “I know how you feel about him so I figured I’d leave this one to you.”

“Thank you,” you sighed, relaxing.

“But if it means anything to you, I think you should tell him, at least about the kiss. He deserves to know,” Peake didn’t wait for an answer and just turned to head back to where all the shouting was and leaving you stunned.

Slowly you made your way back to the office and sat down at your desk, stealing glances at Adam as you became lost in your thoughts.

You wanted to tell Adam about the kiss. You did but that would most likely end up with you revealing how you felt about him and with all the ‘buddy’s and ‘dude’s he used with you, you knew he didn’t feel the same about you. Your stomach felt queasy.

He kissed you out of drunken convenience. You knew how friendly and loving he was when he was drunk. That made you feel even worse.

“You okay there?” Adam asked, pulling you from your thoughts.

You jumped, not even realizing he was there. “I don’t feel well,” you told him and stood up suddenly.

“Want me to drive you-” he began but you were quick to interject.

“I’m good. Thanks though,” you rushed out of the office without another word.

You spent most of the rest of the day overthinking while you tried to ignore your feelings for your coworker and all the worried texts he was sending you throughout the day.

It was almost seven when there was a knock on your front door. You had a feeling you knew who it was so you tried to smooth your hair out as best as you could as you went to answer the door.

“Hey, Adam,” you greeted, trying to sound cheerful but failing pretty hard.

He gave you a nervous smile and you could feel your stomach drop to the floor. Peake must have told him. Why else would he be nervous?

“Expecting me?” he made an attempt at a joke.

“I mean with you phone stalking me who else would it be,” the try at a joke in return left an awkward feeling in the air.

“So…” Adam drawled out.

“So?” you urged him to continue just wanting to get away from this cringe-worthy feeling.

“Listen, about the kiss,” Adam started once more.

“I told Peake not to tell you. I figured he would but not so quickly,” you interrupted. “I just wanted some time to figure out everything.”

“Peake?” Adam chimed in.

“Peake, didn’t tell you?” you raised an eyebrow.

“No. Do you not remember kissing? I thought you remembered,” Adam went on.

You shook your head, “No. Sorry. I was blacked out for most of the night. Peake had the kiss on video and Adam, I’m so sorry. We can forget the whole thing if you want. I mean I already did but you know what I mean.”

You sort of trailed off and looked up at Adam who was clearly confused and trying to work something out.

“Wait,” he finally said, “Do- Do you think I didn’t want to kiss you?”

“I mean I know you did. We both know how you are when you’re drunk so I get it. You were friendly. I was there. Kissing was bound to happen. Right, pal?” you punched his shoulder playfully.

Adam’s face melted into a smile then he started to laugh.

“I-” you could feel the tears starting as Adam seemed to mock you.

He reached out and his laughing ceased as soon as he saw your face, “Trust me. This is all a misunderstanding on both our parts.”

“What do you mean?” you asked, successful on keeping your voice from cracking.

Adam smiled, “I think explaining is a little more messy than just showing.”

You wanted to ask what he meant but he beat you to the punch with a lustful kiss. You were so surprised you nearly fell backwards but his arms were already around you, holding you stable. You suddenly relaxed and kissed him back, standing on your toes to deepen the kiss.

When you both pulled back with big smiles you asked, “But what about all the friendly nicknames?”

“I was trying to cover up any sort of feelings I had for you. Clearly, it worked great on you,” he sighed.

“On me?” you questioned.

“Peake knew from the start,” Adam explained.

Your eyes widened, “Of course. You knew he picked up on how I felt for you months ago.”

“Maybe we keep this on the down low and let him suffer a little longer?” Adam suggested.

“I like the way you think,” you smirked, “In the meantime.” You pulled Adam back to your lips and tugged him inside your apartment, shutting the door behind him.

Bruce was out of the office for the day so you took his spot recording with Adam and James today.

You had managed to make Adam blush on camera when commenting about his hair today and now you were hellbent on turning him into a tomato with James enabling you. You used everything in your arsenal from comments about working out to even being as bold as kissing his cheek.

As Adam crashed, he covered his face, “We cannot use any of the footage from today.”

“Why not?” you asked innocently.

Adam stopped the recording and turned around, “I think both of you know why.” He looked between the two of you.

“What’s that? Elyse is calling me? Guys, I got to go,” James excused himself even though Elyse was sitting right behind him.

You rolled your eyes but leaned in and lowered your voice, “You know you wouldn’t blush as much if you didn’t like me so much.”

Adam leaned back in surprise, “What?! How- How do you know?” His voice lowered as he leaned closer again, “How long have you known?”

You shrugged, “Awhile. I’ve just been waiting for you to make your move.” You pat Adam’s knee before standing and walking off, leaving him in stunned silence.

“So I’m going to need a little help,” you told the crowd as you fake-whispered into the mic.

“Now, Adam is going to call me in about,” you checked your phone, “Five minutes. I want everyone to stay quiet because he doesn’t know I’m here. I wanted to surprise him.”

You paced the stage a little, keeping your focus on the crowd, “Now after we say hi and I miss you he’s going to ask how I’m doing. At that point, I’m going to say fine but then turn the camera to you guys and ask if you’re alright and that’s when I want you to cheer and hopefully he’ll get it. Does that work?”

The crowd cheered and you signaled them to settle down as your phone began to ring a little early. You turned and got the best angle for the video so he couldn’t see the crowd or where you were just yet.

“Hey, baby,” you greeted and heard a few hushed awws from the crowd.

“Hey,” Adam gave you a smile that melted your heart every time you saw it. You were so excited to see it in person again in a moment.

“I miss you,” you pouted, playing it up.

“I miss you, too,” he frowned, “How are you?”

“I’m good,” you smiled then turned the camera to the crowd, “How about you guys? Ready to see Adam in a few minutes?”

The crowd went nuts as you turned the camera back to yourself to see Adam’s shocked face, “You’re not.”

“Oh, I am,” you confirmed.

The call dropped and the crowd went nuts again as one of the stage doors burst open and Adam frantically came running out. As soon as his eyes landed on you, he sprinted across the stage and picked you up in a tight hug spinning you as you laughed loudly.

He started to carry you off stage so you held a mic up to him, “We’ll be back shortly. Just need a moment.”

There were a lot of whoops and cheering as Adam carried you away.

“Adam,” you laughed as he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you closer.

“What? That guy was giving you a look. I didn’t like it,” he frowned, glaring at the blond who had looked over at you.

“He’s the bartender,” you laughed even harder, “I’m pretty sure he’s looking at everyone. Adam tugged on you again and you let out a chuckle. “Sweetie, if you pull me any closer I’ll be in your lap.”

His face lit up as he looked over at you.

“No. I’m not sitting in your lap,” you pressed a soft kiss to his lips as it fell into a pout. “Don’t worry though I’m not going anywhere. I’m very happy where I am.”
