Happy release day to #TwiceInABlueMoon by @christinalauren! 🌙💙 I was able to attend their author event last night in Brooklyn and it was so wonderful hearing #ChristinaLauren talk about their newest book child. Thanks again to #WordBookstores to hosting this event! And a casual reminder to support your local indie bookstores when you can! Purchasing a book at these events helps the bookstore, the authors, and supports the event! Q: What’s the last book you bought (bonus points if its from an indie!) and if you’ve read it, what did you think of it Twice In A Blue Moon starts off 14-years earlier in London. Tate Jones is on vacation with her grandmother when they befriend Sam Brandis and his grandfather. Tate and Sam become close and Tate tells Sam something she’s never told anyone - she’s the daughter of the worlds most famous actor and her mother has kept her hidden from the world growing up. Sam leaves without a trace and Tate’s secret is out to the world and she’s throwing into the spotlight at 18. Fast forward 14-years, Tate is now an up and coming actress herself set to start in a movie with her father for the first time. Little does she expect to see Sam on the set of the movie! Tonight I attended @christinalauren's event in Brooklyn for the release of #TwiceInABlueMoon! 🌙💙 This was my first time seeing the duo in person and I fell even more in love with them hearing them talk about their books. They are such a great writing team and it was interesting to hear a little about their writing process. I highly recommend each and every CLo book. I'm still personally working my way through their 20+ books. Twice In A Blue Moon is officially out tomorrow (later today?!) and I've already listened to the audiobook thanks to @librofm's Advance Listening Copy program, and let me tell you. This is easily in my Top 3 favorite CLo books. I ADORE this book! Please check it out - the audiobook is also FANTASTIC and the story is just so good. If you love Roomies or Love & Other Words as much as I do, you'll also love this one. Speaking of Roomies. CLo mentioned they had written the screenplay for a #Roomies movie (?!??!) but movies take a longggggggggg time to happen compared to books. So.
