"You've got a blood stain on the back of your shirt, and I really hope it's not yours."
Toni tried to turn and look at her back. “No idea if it’s mine or not... Still running on adrenaline so I can’t feel anything.”

"You've got a blood stain on the back of your shirt, and I really hope it's not yours."
Toni tried to turn and look at her back. “No idea if it’s mine or not... Still running on adrenaline so I can’t feel anything.”
🍸
Toni took a drink. “I regret not making Rory come with us when I had the chance...”
"Haven't see you around in a while, Nyssa. How you've been doing?"
Nyssa gave Twila a tired smile. “You know how it goes; one emergency after another, and never knowing quite where you stand.”
❛ This? I’ve gotten out of worse scrapes than this. Can’t think of anything right now, but. ❜
Toni chuckled and looked at the mess in the kitchen. “What even happened in here?”
18. upon first meeting cole, were they afraid of him?
Nyssa thought him odd, but never felt that he was a danger. After a while, she learned to understand how he thought, and actually became very protective of him -- even knowing he was a deadly assassin. She sided with Varric and helped him become more human -- the thought of him being chained, his personality destroyed, was too painful for Nyssa to contemplate.
"It's been so quiet recently at the Keep... It even feels kind of eerie."
Toni nodded. “With most of the others off helping the Inquisition, it is rather calm around here.”
42. Is there anything in your character’s past that they regret, haunts them, or they wish they could change?
Nyssa wishes that her parents could have accepted her as a mage -- that even had they sent her to the Circle in Ostwick (which was a relatively serene and relaxed Circle) that they would have allowed her visits home or would have communicated with her regularly. The only connection she has with them is her name, and the best-quality books, robes, staves and other tools she received while in the Circle -- all without any comment.
✂
.... I’m so scared, Twila. I’m a mage; I’ve been distrusted at best and hated at worst by Chantry, Templars, the rest of the world -- and now it all depends on me. Maker, what will happen once they don’t need me anymore? When the last Rift is closed, will the Chantry call for my head? Nevarra? The Qunari?I find some small comfort in knowing that Orlais and Ferelden are both kindly disposed to me since aiding them in stopping a Civil War and ejecting a magister from Redcliffe, where he had usurped the rightful throne of Arl Teagan. But even they may later wish to chain the mage, or worse, make her Tranquil. The nights are long, and the nightmares
I don’t know how much more I can --
