“Hey beautiful, why don’t you let me show you a good time.”
Ugh another one. You rolled your eyes. These men have a lot of nerve and hardly anything to make up for it. You smiled as sweetly as you could.
“I don’t think you can handle me.” Not a lie technically.
“Come on let me buy you a drink.” He slid into the empty seat beside you.
“No, I’m okay, but thanks.”
“Don’t be rude darling. It’s just a drink.” Does no mean anything to these guys? He ordered you something random. His friends came over then to introduce themselves. If they thought they were sneaky, they weren’t. You saw the ice cubes drop to the bottom of the glass as he all but forced the drink into your hands.
You sighed, you wouldn’t be able to get rid of them any time soon. Everyone’s attention shifted to another man bumping into the first guys friends. They began acting like they were going to hurt him if he didn’t watch where he was going next time. You smiled at the thought of that.
“You know my head is starting to hurt. I better go home.” Your words slurred.
The three men all looked at eachother, the first one smiled at you.
“Why don’t you let me take you home. Wouldn’t want you getting into any trouble.” This isn’t going to end well, you thought. You just nodded as one of them wrapped his arm around you.
They began leading you out of building, and into an alleyway.
“This isn’t the right way.” You started to say. You just heard them laughing. This really wasn’t going to go well. The first guy leaned you against a wall. God he reeked of alcohol.
“Don’t worry, you won’t remember anything tomorrow.”
“You know, when a woman says no. It usually means they aren’t interested.” The three men turned to look at the man at the other end of the valley.
“I don’t think I heard her say no, what about you guys? Did you hear anything?”
“You idiots really make this so easy.” He began coming closer and the three recognized him from the bar.
“You again? I thought we told you not to get in our way again.”
“God, it’s about time. I was getting impatient Garrett.” You finally said.
“Sorry my love, had to make sure there was no one around.”
The three guys stared at you in shock. You threw the original guy to the ground. The other two tried to swing at Garret only to be met with their back slammed against the wall. The last one tried to run but it’s not like he would get very far. Garrett rounded him up with the other two.
“We-we’re sorry! We weren’t going to do anything!” One of the guys said
“Really? You’re going to lie that badly?” You asked
“We didn’t know…” the original guy said this time
“That really shouldn’t make a difference.” Garrett suddenly picked up the man by his throat. He looked over at you, “ladies first.”
“Such a gentleman,” you said, “I was starving.”

“We need to find other ways to get our food my love.” The two of you were back in your apartment.
“The alcohol does give a nice buzz though.” You looked over at Garrett and noticed how upset he looked, “what’s wrong hun?” You joined him on the couch and sat on his lap.
“It’s nothing. I just— it’s hard seeing those creeps. I know you can handle yourself but it still makes me want to rip their heads off.”
You kissed his cheek. “I’m okay love, and if you think about it we’re saving apt of other women the pain of having to deal with them. Because unlike me, most women wouldn’t be able to get away from them or fight back so easily.”
“This is true.” He said as he pulled you closer and kissed your neck. You heard people being loud in the streets. Apparently they were just loitering and making a scene.
“Hey Garrett?” You said as you looked out the window.
“You wanna have some more fun?”
“What were you thinking?”
“We still have those water balloons from when we hung out with rose and Emmett right?”
A evil grin grew on his face, “I love the way you think darling.”
