The small alicorn stands idle behind Princess Luna, her bottom lip tucked into her mouth as she listens carefully to the younger of the two sisters. She takes small steps, slowly making her way to Luna’s side, though her gaze remains focused ahead to stare at the starry sky.
“…Perhaps it’s…a bit much of me to answer but…I’ll do my best to do so. Luna, the mistakes you made don’t define you…they never will.” Brows furrow, a pained expression flourishing upon her pastel visage. “You built a wall, one built with bricks of misunderstandings and resentments. Considering the truth behind your feelings, I can understand it…I can understand you.” Twilight’s eyes would close, a gentle breath escaping, “You were alone…you didn’t have anypony at your side when you needed it most. I can honestly say that the same may have happened to me without my friends in Ponyville…but you don’t have to worry about the past anymore because you have us, all of us.” A hoof gentle pats at Luna’s side, a smile pulling at her lips. “I know you and Celestia don’t fully understand one another but she loves and forgives you, as do all of us. The past is the past, and dwelling on it will bring nothing but more pain. If you can…you should accept it, and be proud of all the progress you have made and…just know that no matter what lurks in the shadows, we will be there to lift you up if you fall.”
