okay, so I'm gonna share a silly headcanon of mine: when Kate developed her electric ability, humans hadn't even invented electricity yet right? not until Ben Franklin, but the person who actually laid the groundwork for the modern electricity systems we use today was Nikola Tesla. so I HC that Kate knew Tesla at some point (they both come from CEE and Kate could have still lived there at the time), and her electric power inspired him to develop electricity further and introduce it to the human world. electricity is such a complex thing and almost magical that it just makes sense that it could have originated from a supernatural source. I just think this is a really cool thing that changed the whole world and imagine if she had actually influenced its development!
