As a newborn, she was supposed to be the strongest, fastest one there, at least for now, but Hannah had been happy to let Emmett win. And she would have gotten away with it, had they not gone hunting right after, making painfully obvious how much she had been holding back during their little matches. Forcefully outed, she had won the race back home, and, as always, the strongest feeling around the Cullens kept being embarrassment. Though the 'siblings' had started joking around and laughing, and Emmett had seemed such a good sport, that there didn't seem to be any danger after all.
"I didn't know if you'd get... aggressive," she finally explained awkwardly, pacing around the rock where they had played some armwrestling earlier. It had been particularly hard to guess just how weak she'd have to act to be believable, not having enough information to judge. "Like... really aggressive, I don't know you that well yet, and... look at you." He, in many ways, resembled a bear. She did not. "And I'm... a girl. A female vampire," she stressed the adjective, "You know how most guys get mad if we win."
