Twin Cities Collage Collective
Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. The Twin Cities Collage Collective, like most everything else, has put all of their activities on hold. Collective co-founder, Ben DiNino, writes “It's sad since we were just coming into our own. We were looking forward to World Collage Day and the exhibition of all the work we have been receiving.” Instead of an in-person exhibition, they put together an online exhibit that you can view on their website. Once people are able to start meeting in groups again, the collective is optimistic that they will still go forward with a number of collage based classes through the local library system that were meant to start in April. The group has been connecting via social media to check in with each other and discuss future plans. Image by by Nathan Stromberg. MORE

Kolaj Magazine, a full colour, print magazine, exists to show how the world of collage is rich, layered, and thick with complexity. By remixing history and culture, collage artists forge new thinking. To understand collage is to reshape one’s thinking of art history and redefine the canon of visual culture that informs the present.
