There's having anger problems then there's being belligerent then having physically violent outbursts at someone for correcting them about a simple rule they probably ignored. Wouldn't surprise me if his violent tendencies were why his sister's so scared of things, having a family member with clearly abusive tendencies can do that to you.
“I would like to point out that Nick was very much goading Nikolai into that attack?” Sparrow says, and the neutrality of her voice doesn’t give away how she feels about that. “Besides, there’s a distinct lack of the general social skills when it comes to the twins.” She tilts her head. “And what do you even know about anger issues anyway?”
She doesn’t have anything to say about the abusiveness, having little experience with that herself-
[-but the mun is happy to intervene at this point and, in a slightly unusual turn of events, brings along @iridescentdarkness for her input. Liana?]
“Huh? Oh, um…Well, as for the whole anger issues thing, I would probably say that everyone has different triggers? So what might set one person off won’t necessarily set someone else off. It’s about perception, you know? Plus, from what I can tell, he’s not just mad about the rules thing. It was about the whole ‘frozen’ thing - which I didn’t know was a thing? Although Donnie did freeze Mutag-I mean, Timmy. Anyway, what I was saying is that anger is a very fragile, hot emotion. Sometimes you can get angry for seemingly no reason at all. It’s a hard emotion to understand.”
“As for the abusive tendencies part, I would say that, having experienced family abuse firsthand, that there doesn’t seem to be anything abusive between the twins - they’re twins, right? I mean, Nika does seem like a nervous person? But after the kinds of things she’s been through, it doesn’t altogether seem out of character - or abusive. I mean, they could be seen as somewhat codependent but I wouldn’t say there’s any abuse. Personally, it feels like you’re trying to interpret something that isn’t there for the sake of an argument.”
