Twinlock AU: John's only claim to fame in the realm of deductions is being able to tell Sherlock and his twin apart. At everything else John doesn't have a clue, but no matter how hard Sherlock and his twin try they cannot fool John on who is whom
I really like this.
Twinlock au: the twin is a girl who's hella smart and hella pretty so Sherlock is double worried and so he shows of double as much and it all backfires and he comes off as a huge asshole but John still loves him anyways

Twinlock AU: Sherlock is so convinced that John is in love with his twin, he doesn't allow his love for John to 'get in the way'. The twin hatches a plan to get John and Sherlock to date. He talks to John for Sherlock (by dressing and acting as Sherlock), giving John hints of Sherlock's interest. The next day, John asks Sherlock out. The twin gets a wedding invite a year later form the two who are happily engaged and solving crimes in London. (Bonus: The twin keeps bees for a living) <3

MORE Twinlock AU: Sherlock is all insecure about his brother being just as intelligent AND handsome (Mycroft only ever had one) because he still thinks John only hangs out with him because he's so unique and special, but there's another one so he's not special anymore
Consider: His twin is actually not a genius, but he’s really good with people, and just as handsome, but a lot more accessible in his dress and manner, and this is why Sherlock thinks he’s going to lose John because his twin is NICE and COMPLIMENTS John. Which is why Sherlock shows off even more than usual, which only comes off as incredibly rude, and he’s all like FUKFUKKK I FUCKED UP. But, surprise, John still likes Sherlock best because Sherlock’s the one that gets then stuck up a tree at 3 in the morning, not gets them tickets to that movie he’s been wanting to see (even though that’s nice). Sherlock’s the one that starts a fistfight with a gang of thugs, not starts a charity for the local library (even though that’s nice). Sherlock’s the one that takes his breath away, not the twin. :3
Twinlock au: they're identical and one day, John thinks he's talking to the twin but he's actually talking to Sherlock and he confesses that he's in love with Sherlock and then Gay Stuff happens
Twinlock AU. About a year into their relationship Mycroft casually drops that Sherlock's twin brother is returning home from (insert differently country name here), doing detective work. Sherlock and his twin are equal in astounding intelligence and bullheaded-stupidity. ... CHAOS. <3
