If I told you I loved you, would you consider it fact? If I told you I hated you, could I take those words back? If I told you I cried, because you abandoned me to this; Would you ever come home, because it's you I still miss?

*when it's midnight in Nibelheim, sneaks into Hojo's office to leave him a kiss on the cheek* Happy New Year.
The man frowns and looks over at the woman. He sighs. "Happy New Year, Megami."
Bored of having to wait for dire circumstances to see what kind of effect the keychain Crissy gave him had, Ienzo summoned Hallucination and curiously replaced the Keychain. Once he was satisfied that the white wing was secure on the end of his trusty blade, he held it out, frowning at the lack of results. Maybe it was just a cute trinket, though it didn't explain why Hallucination's own was a mini lexicon.
A pulse went through the Keyblade then, and a soft light enveloped it, causing Ienzo to squeeze his eyes shut for a moment. When it faded, the blade heavily resembled Nero's mechanical appendages, with the teeth of the weapon being another wing and glowing blue lines running through it, reminiscent to the mako suit his brother wore.
Ienzo breathed deeply when he saw it and held the blade close, stowing Hallucination's keychain in his pocket. He even somehow knew the name of his weapon, too-- possibly through the bond wielder and weapon shared.
"Umbra Arcana..."
Megami had expected the shove and rolled into a crouch. Slowly, she stood up and brushed off her suit of the dust it had collected, looking ever-so-nonchalant as he verbally chewed her out. Well, today, she was expecting to throw him for a loop and then some. "Well, I apologize, Professor," she spoke, softly, but she *spoke*. "But perhaps I was a bit too excited from the prospect of seeing you again. Perhaps I was a bit too eager and you had complained about it not being Christmas last time..."
His brow raised when she heard her speak. He was still irate with the woman, however he didn't have to translate the standard signs into standard and then figure out what snide remark to say in return. A smug smile tugged at his his lips. He had complained that the last time they had seen each other it wasn't Christmas.
"A bit?"
It had been a while and she had flown all the way from Midgar for this one thing. It was December, it was close to Christmas - he had no right to complain. So Megami just happened to find him in his office, looking at some papers. She got to him, sat down on his lap facing him and before he could get the first syllable out, wrapped her arms around him and snogged the daylights out of the man.
It had been odd to see her standing at the doorway of his office, it had been even odder to watch her walk over and sit down in his lap. However before he could retort the woman had thrust herself upon him. The papers in his lap were completely forgotten as the woman was very much on top of him, kissing him, invading his personal space. For a moment he caught himself returning her advance. However, he pulled himself away and glared down at young woman before pushing her off of him. He was livid with this woman. He knocked her to the floor, scowling.
"As fun as that was...normally I don't go around making a habit of kissing my turks especially when they force themselves on me."
Paper dreams and snowflake smiles.
Flowers. That's what Aerith had awoken to. A basket of intricately crafted, beautiful paper flowers. It didn't take a genius to work out her kind hearted benefactor, but it did take all of her self restraint to avoid squealing happily and waking up Elmyra. Carefully thumbing through each of the delicate blooms before she'd even had time to dress, the Cetra smiled happily, inhaling an imaginary scent as she twirled and adorned her sanctuary with them. Her hair, her coat, her headboard, strung together and wound around the curtain pole…they were everywhere, transforming her slum dwelling into the Eden she so ardently adored. She was quite fond of their creator too, not that she'd ever particularly hidden that fact from the world. It was he who she sought now, a great many hours after she'd discovered the glorious gift he'd left under the cover of her necessary slumber. Adorned in her papery expanse of flowers, the red clad flower trudged off through ice and snow, her footprints leaving an uncompromising trail as she left in search of her cuddly companion. She needed to thank him properly, or at least to the best of her ability, for bringing Spring back into her icy little world. Not that finding a Turk had ever been easy. They were renowned for never being in the right places at the right times. Maybe that was the idea though. To increase demand and make sure stealth was always a number one priority. Finding Megumi had turned into hers today though and only after a good hour of searching through offices had she had the good sense to call upon his home, her hair flecked entirely with snow as she rapped her knuckles against the door, teeth chattering as she lingered beneath a great bushel of festive decorations. Must. Not. Pounce.
Tis the season!
Twinturkterrors:
Megumi heard her come in as he was arranging a small patch of folded leaves on a tree. There were pink blossoms on the tree that would sometimes allow gravity to do its work and force them into falling. He smiled, blushing lightly as Aerith kissed his cheek. “Happy December, dear heart.”
He had nothing to give Aerith, though. There was one thing, but he doubted she would want it. But maybe…
“Aerith, close your eyes a moment, would you? I have something to give to you, too.” His heart was beating quickly and his face was growing so red, he’d beat out a tomato any day of the week. When he was sure that the flowergirl wasn’t looking or peeking. Megumi leaned in to place a gentle, shy kiss on the corner of her lips. “Happy…December, Aeri.”
"But I can't see you if I close my eyes, silly!" Aerith almost protested, her lips tilting into a vague pout as she complied with the request. Serene emerald closing with a slight flutter, the air was surprisingly still in that instant, her heart drumming in a rapid crescendo as she waited for whatever mystery gift Megumi wished to bestow upon her. He needn't offer her anything, friendship was more than enough, but surprises had never failed to win over the plucky brunette. And this was apparently a surprise worth waiting for. Lost in the silent reverie of the moment, from nowhere something touched her lips and it took all of a few seconds for her to realise that it wasn't a mere something but another set of lips. His lips to be precise, soft and supple and grazing the outer most corner of her mouth. It was slightly surreal if truth be told, but perhaps not in a bad way. Cracking open one eye, the Cetra's cheeks pinked up, blood seeping into tender flesh as she bit her lip while watching the Turk curiously. That was until she started giggling of course. Pressing her hand over her mouth in an endearing outburst of amusement, coyly the flower girl shuffled on the spot, a permanent smile etched into her features as her free hand neatly slipped down to lace her fingers with Megumi's. "Somewhere it must be snowing." She told him quietly, it was after all, what he'd wished for wasn't it? A kiss in the snow. Teetering on her tiptoes for a moment longer, the brunette shifted forwards to drape her arms around the red faced gentleman and pull him into a warm and entirely satisfied embrace. "I think we'll have to turn this into a new tradition, 'umi. "

The Sable gave her a strange look, questioning her sanity. He wasn't even going to bother responding.
