FOREVER REBLOG
well, can’t have people think I hate Harry Potter now can I?
I’m sorry, but my existence obligates me to reblog this. :/
FOREVER REBLOG
Who wouldn’t reblog this?
Of course I love Harry Potter. I am meant to love it!
“So you’ll have to watch him die as well? At least he has a whole life ahead of him,” Shelke commented, somewhat trying to give him a ‘positive’ outlook on the matter. It wasn’t much, but it was all she could offer him. It still didn’t seem fair to her— Shalua wasn’t in the best of health, and Shelke didn’t know how much more time they’d have together as sisters. True, they’d gotten lucky before. But luck always had a nasty habit of running out.
A whole life, as long as they could prevent future events. And even then…Nero sighed heavily, feeling mentally and emotionally drained. Between unlocking the memories that had been suppressed, the spell, and now this, he was exhausted. “…May I leave, Shelke? I need to rest and I doubt Shalua would be happy if she found out I was here.”
“I— All right,” she finally conceded, letting him go. He was right, and she had things she needed to get back to. Still, there seemed to be less… hatred for the other Tsviet thanks to the spell. Whether or not it remained after it wore off remained to be seen, of course. But for now… she could live with it. “Also, Nero. We did beat the spell. You kept control of yourself.”
He gave a nod in agreement. "So I did. Thank you, Shelke." Tendrils of shadow rose around his form, darkness swallowing him into its depths. Then he was gone without any trace of him having been there at all.
“How long, though? I’m never going to grow older…I’m doomed to watch anyone I’d care for die,” Shelke looked away, frowning. She’d have to live out eternity without her older sister. It didn’t seem fair at all, but there was nothing that could be done about it now. “It’s not fair…”
“And you think I’m any different?” he asked, his tone a mixture of amusement and bitterness. “All the Tsviets were given that treatment. You simply had it administered at an earlier age than the rest of us.” He would end up outliving his younger brother. When that happened, it was quite likely that he’d fall into insanity once more unless Weiss decided to stay with him.

To be fair, of course, they had tried to end the world. “It isn’t fair, is it? No one’s going to see us as we really are, because we’re going to be forever associated with Deepground. Even I…” she shook her head, banishing the thoughts that had started to form. But it was true. Despite who her sister was, despite the odd pseudo-friendship she seemed to have with Reeve… she saw the looks of distrust others gave her whenever she set foot into the WRO.
“Unlike me, at least you have a chance to gain a place among the people of Gaia. Somehow I’m inclined to believe that not many know you outside of the WRO.” After all, she was the one gathering information, the one who had worked behind the scenes. Had she even killed anyone during the incident? He wasn’t sure.

"And you think I'm any different?" he asked, his tone a mixture of amusement and bitterness. "All the Tsviets were given that treatment. When that happened, it was quite likely that he'd fall into insanity once more unless Weiss decided to stay with him.
“Shalua attempts to do the same… I think everyone forgets I’m grown,” the Tsviet sighed, still not quite realizing she hadn’t let go of Nero’s arm yet. The spell in the back of her mind continued to weave and work, giving subtle manipulations of making her subconsciously think how comforting and nice it was to hold onto him.
“Much like how most everyone sees me as a psychopath that wanted to bring about the end of the world,” he muttered. All he’d wanted was to bring his elder brother back and summoning Omega was unfortunately the only way that he’d learned about. “Being viewed as things we aren’t unfortunately seems to be part of Deepground’s curse.”

A small smirk tugged at the younger’s lips when he replied with that. “It must be exasperating being your younger sibling, then,” she commented. But the time she had met the boy, all he’d been able to talk about was how he idolized Nero. Shelke found that being a younger sibling was hard in general— especially when you had to relearn how to do so.
“It’s exasperating on both ends, I think. I have to try and keep him out of trouble after all, something that’s rather difficult to accomplish at times,” he chuckled lightly, allowing the talk of his sibling to distract him from the effects of the spell.
