Not my usual post, but, MLP shipping.
My fav character is Twilight, so all my fav ships involve her too XD
I do like twidash, I like the fics where they go on adventures and stuff. They're such a cool combo, because they're both really cool. Like Twilight with magic and Dash with flying. I especially love those runaway adventure fics, Twili and Dashie against the whole world...
But, kind of second to my other ships, twilestia and twicord. I feel like I don't see enough of it, but my fav is, like, super old Twilight, like all her friends and family have died, she has no one, the curse of time and immortality have caught up to her, maybe she even loses her mind a bit (twicord), but you know, Celestia and Discord are still there, just as eternal as she. With Discord specifically, it's coming to understand each other. With Celestia, I like the whole, 'Celestia and Twilight learn to lean on each other', thing, like, they're both so old and know so much tragedy, and they've become used to being by themselves, but then, you know, to be together right? They don't have to be alone (anymore), they can rely on each other... <3 Twilight x breaking Celestia's cold (or is it hot 🤔) exterior.
I will also give a notable mention to twiluna and twishine? (Twilight Sparkle x Shining Armor). I'm not so much into twiluna anymore, but I do still appreciate it and remember a bit of my fondness. How Luna is a social outcast, socially awkward, and stuff, and how Twilight is all about accepting and making friends with everypony. Especially the, Luna being all sad, and Twilight being like, 'I love your night sky! I always have!' and they watch the stars together and shit... so cute... I also like how matching their personalities are, they both appreciate quiet, slow, activities. I mean, sometimes I see the whole, 'stop being such a shut in nerd bookworm Twi', thing, and get kind of annoyed. I guess I get what people are going for with it, she does enjoy being with her friends, but also, there's nothing wrong with not being extroverted or liking quiet activities. Just because you're doing it by yourself doesn't mean it's SAD, or that you're mentally ill and need to be fixed, I for one quiet like activities like that (and I don't see it as needing to be fixed). Oh yeah, twishine lol. I only really see them in porn (no plot) fics, which is okay, I guess. Sometimes they have a bit of story in them, but not really. I just feel like there's a lot of potential there, like, BBBFF and wedding episodes. They're really close, like, just you and me, together forever! That's such a cute ship... Shame there are not more serious incest fics (at least I have Rick and Morty for that).
Oh oh, and another little mention to... twidence (? Twilight x Cadence, anyhow). I like the idea of them picking up after everyone else died, like, they both lose Shining, and find comfort in each other. Also the idea of Shining passing them on / giving his blessings like, 'you best take good care of my wife! and you best take good care of my little sister! or else...' giving that talk to both of them is kinda funny. Unless, just go all three of them, idk, make Shining an alicorn too (I want more male alicorn representation).
