Ok so. Remember my rambling in my Talon!Dick post? Yeah well, I did end up doing something with that AU because I'm crazy and have no life so of course I'm gonna do a whole ass story about it someday I totally don't already have all the arcs planned someone please knock me out.

*I wrote "his" for Steph's description but it's supposed to be "her" ToT

So. It's a mix between a Reverse Robins AU and a Dark Timeline AU. Basically the birds end up on their antiheroes/villains route under the banner of sugar daddy Damian, while the Bats stay true to themselves. Birds vs Bats. Damian, Steph, Tim, Jason, and Dick vs Bruce, Barbara, Kate, Cass, and Duke.

I have... so many notes. About relationships and headcanons and backstories. It's a whole thing.

Notes because of course I have notes:

-Savior wasn't originally on top of the Court's hit list but he thwarted their plans to assassinate Bruce Wayne and Damian one too many times so they decided to send Talon after him first

-Savior would've won the fight had it not been for Talon being literally immortal

-Red Hood had to bail his ass off

-Timothy Drake was invited to join the Court, which he accepted because he loves his infiltrations and has 0 amount of self-preservation skills

-the Court of Owls act is the one time the Birds and the Bats teamed up because shit hit the fan real bad

More notes because of course:

-Dick chirps when he's happy or distraught. Any overwhelming feelings makes him unable to form proper words so he just reverts back to bird chirps.

-Dick is cold 24/7 (the only actual sensation he can feel) so he constantly goes around snuggling with others

-Jason is a furnace but since he and Dick fight more often than not, they very rarely snuggle unless Dick is really really cold

-Tim designed Dick a new insulated suit after the Birds stole him from the Court. Dick still snuggles whenever he can

And also because Damian and Tim need to be antagonistic towards one another in absolutely every universes, I don't make the rule.

Tim and his love for infiltrations and/or letting his civil persona be captured so he can destroy enemies from the inside. Steph who enables him and sends him his most powerful weapon via Owlling postal service. Little owlling who hates everything about this.

Damian who is also very much not fond of these stunts.

Ok so. Everybody in this au has too much chemistry with at least 2 others so there won't be any canon ships. I wanna be able to do all of them however I want x) TimSteph being very into each other is the only canon thing there, but Tim is an absolute moron who can't manage a relationship at all so. Yeah.

Pre-Savior and Red Hood. Neighbours Tim and Jason who are best friends and spend every single second of free time they have together. Tim who teaches Jason to skate and how to handle posh socialites. Tim who always tags along during galas to shame the adults when they're being assholes to Jason. Tim who loves Jason with his whole heart from day one.

Tim who assists to Jason's funerals :) And dons the Savior suit because obviously Batman can't even protect his own partner :)) And pushes Damian into resurrecting his best friend because he's incapable of grieving :)))

Jason who's alive again and can't remember anything from his previous life, including his friendship with Tim :))))

Have TalonDick and Kory still meet in this au? Like one of the few times they go to space and Dick finds Kore that was held captive longer? Battle arena Kore?

I did not plan on adding any non-Gothamite character to this au (trying to keep the ungodly amount of characters to a manageable level lol), buuuut I am particularly weak to Dickkory so here you go.

Something something Dick got kidnapped by an alien head-hunter for the arena, met Kory, they immediately went soulmates vibes with each other and wrecked havoc on the arena so they could both run.

Dick came back home and Damian didn't even bother asking. That's yet another addition to the team, an alien war goddess that controls energy. Sure. Why not.

15 years old dead kid Dick always hiding behind giants after having taunted others. He deserves to be a little shit after everything that happened to him.
