A familiar scent wafted towards the young woman. The blue haired man hummed quietly as he approached her from behind. "Harley?" he spoke quietly, uncertainty. He rubbed his scar nervously, fearing for her reaction. (guess who's trying to come back?)

She knew that scent, yet thought it was merely a mixture of burnt herbs cruelly reminding her of a lover. She ignored it until she heard a familiar voice call her name. Thinking it some cruel joke by the youngsters, she turned around with the intent of scolding them. When she saw him, however, ever ounce of anger melted into relief.

New beginnings

(So I'm running on very little sleep, but, for a wonderful reason. My good friend, one of my adoptive mothers, an angel and amazing woman, @twistedlunette, had her babies last night c: they're both healthy and theyre both so damn cute.      Imagine that empty feeling of being apart from your friends for a long length of time. That’s what Yuna felt while she slept. She felt this suffocating lonely feeling that never left her hospital bed. 

     She really shouldn’t feel this way. People visited her every day in her bed and spoke to her, telling her about their good and bad days. Every once in a while, she could hear people crying over her. She wanted to scream out for them to smile and stop crying over her. She would wake up eventually, right?

     That’s what she honestly believed until she overheard a nurse discussion on how she might never wake up. 

     Never wake up...

     Time passed and Yuna waited until it was her time to wake. It would be soon, right?

Harley rubbed her temples as she sat on Saix’s bed. What was she thinking?

The scarred woman had, in all honesty, broken into the man’s apartment, stripped down to her undergarments and now?

She was hiding beneath the covers on his bed, trying to decide whether this was really worth it. After the confrontation with Saihtam, she was certain she would never be able to move on. 

But hearing Saix call her his mate... To know she meant that much to him... She was far more willing to let things progress. As she listened to the door, she closed her eyes and rested her head on the pillow, praying that she wasn’t making a mistake.
