A soft hum from the forest… Since that time, that incident, people have been avoiding the woods in which it all started. True story turning into an urban legend, and spreading like wild fire. They were afraid, because they didn’t understand it all. They left the female alone to let her and her fellow corpses above ground.
Sitting upon the fallen tree, Emily hummed to herself. Scraps, that skeleton dog, barking and yipping besides her. He eventually did fall asleep, thank goodness, however, Maggot was as loud as ever in her head. The dead bride just tried to ignore the insect however, they were friends, but in her mind, he could be as annoying as the next person.
Sitting there as rain began to form in thick clouds. Eyes looking up to the slight, eclipsing the moonlight, it was time to get moving. The movements she had were somewhat of a stumble, thanks to her one bone of an arm and leg, but nevertheless, she was graceful for a corpse. The dress and wedding veil flowing behind her as she continued onward through the woods.
It wasn’t long until another brave soul forgot the legends, forgot everything, and ran into her. However… They didn’t run… Which confused Emily, but nevertheless, she was a friendly corpse, and so had to be as kind as she is to the next person.
"Hello there." She began. "Are you lost perhaps? You might want to get inside before the downpour starts."
