"What, you didnât think that I would come up here from the Land of the Dead without bringing some friends right?" A chuckle slipped through her lips. "I will tell you though, we are harmless. And actually, if you get past the rotting, they are rather kind. Only few of us are bad souls, and even then, less horrid than the living! I donât know what changes through death, but somehow, almost everybody in the land of the dead is super sweet! I bet you would love them if you could meet them⌠Well, actually you could, but I doubt youâd want to right?"
She began smoothing and dusting off her dress, it got covered in a slight, able to be brushed off, layer of dirt and dust. Not that it changed the actual beauty of the gown. âSo, Edward, why are you out in the woods so late exactly? If you donât mind my asking.â
"Just clearing my head and trying to focus. Iâm sorta curious though now, you really think you can take me there?"
"Of course I can!" Taking his hand with her's, not even knowing that it was the one arm that was just bone in which grabbed hold of him. With this, she began walking, dragging him with her. "We have to go to the Oak Tree for starters, and then I want you to stay close to me or the spell wont work, okay?" Emily wanted to be sure the other doesn't get left behind.
