Guys help— literally the entire time I’ve never gotten Beck’s live notifications. I’ve checked them so many times and they’re ON. I just thought she didn’t send them out but apparently they sent out one today (confirmed by chat when I watched the VOD later) so I don’t know what’s going on 😭

Does anyone know why it’s Beck’s especially I’m not getting because I get EVERYONE else’s that I have turned on BUT THEM and I don’t know why 😭

A PSA for those who follow me on Twitch! (Or for anyone who follows anyone on Twitch)

If you have had issues getting Twitch notifications, this may be why! Twitch is arbitrarily turning off notifs for people you follow, even when you watch them frequently! Go into settings, turn OFF "smart notifications" and manually enable your notifs per channel in the "by channel" section.

Just for reference, Lemonhedd is the streamer I watch the most, and he's the one Twitch "decided" I didn't need notifications for anymore. Had this email gone to spam, or if I wasn't the type who read emails, I never would have known. I'm sure plenty of folks have gotten one about OctopunkMedia.

Also, if you want to fix it per channel, you can't just go to their channel page - Lemonhedd's channel page still had notifs enabled. I had to go into the "per channel" settings.

trying to set up a platform to actualy stream from. and i cant find the old one i used to use... i know it was twiches own but i cant find the download for it and i really dont like obs or streamlabs

somebody a lot smarter than me is gonna have to get me a step by step guide on how to go live on the hellsite known as twitch. cause i have obs and everything works on there, twitch just doesn't work it keeps loading the screen instead of copying obs output. anybody know how that works? btw my pc runs linux instead of windows, if that matters.

Would anyone be able to help me with an issue I ran into on Twitch? I'm trying to download the VOD from my stream last night, but (aside from the first attempt doing the "preparing" bit) it keeps going into the stream playback. What I found on the topic indicates that it is not supposed to do that, and it is supposed to Prepare the download and then simply download. But it isn't downloading and it's instead going into the playback. Does anyone know what to do about that?

I’m not technologically illiterate, I just realized I can stream from my laptop instead of just streaming from my phone and setting that on my laptop.

My question now is this, can I screen share my laptop screen on twitch instead of it just being my face because that would be awesome.
