Twitter account was hacked

Hey all.

I received a fake DM from a friend today, and fell for it. It was a ruthless scam. My bank info is potentially compromised, and my Twitter account is no longer accessible to me. It's still visible, and I can interact with it with a new account (incaseyouart_v2) but for the time being, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND OR INTERACT with "incaseyouart" on Twitter - IT IS NOT ME.

I've been building my Twitter account since 2009 and I am devastated that I may have lost it forever :(

They hacked my twitter account, I was scammed and I lost out of idioticy. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal but i lost the mutuals I appreciated and had, I can’t remember them all, I am so heartbroken and feel so stupid because I was so scared of my account being banned that I didn’t think

this stupid shit happened to me, but on twitter. someone approached me saying they accidentally reported me and i needed to appeal. they were showing me a screenshot of some fabricated email. The persons discord name was ‘Jesús Molina Guerrero’ and they will make out as if your account will get deactivated in x hours if you don’t provide info. they were asking for date of birth and country where you created the account and even show u a bogus certificate with their ‘credentials’ to make themselves look legit. anyway, long story short I did not give any info as it felt dodgy, like legit deactivate my account then babes 😴😂- my account is still active, and i’m pretty sure Jesús blocked me 😂😂

Ao3’s back, the OTW site and donation page are still having issues. Oh, and be careful, on Twitter an account named Ao3_Status_ (with 2 underscores), is posing as the real one as trying to scam money out of people with fake donations

hey please be aware that this individual on twitter (handle is @/minidnvr) is a scammer. they scammed my brother out of $500 claiming it to be for pets and their mother's medical bills, claimed to have an overdrawn paypal account (which cant happen), asked him to set up a paypal for them cause theyre id supposedly expired, and even after he said he had no more money, begged him for more and when he said know, told him to ask his loved ones for money (he did not). they said they would pay him back when they got paid and much bullshitting excuses about money bouncing from their many paypal accounts (🚩), have still not paid him back

please do not harass them. this post is just to spread awareness in case they try to scam anyone else
