North Lake is a fairly established name in the leftfield techno scene and each release he puts out leaves his listeners constantly looking forward to much more. The prolific and elusive Michigan-based artist has a rich repertoire of previous releases and contributions on exemplary record labels such as Permanent Vacation, Life and Death, Ellum or Phonica.

Watch a Mini-Doc About One of Our Favorite Storytelling Shows, Two-Headed Beast

A monthly storytelling show at Stories-Books and Cafe, Two Headed Beast, was started by the very funny Dave Ross and Jake Weisman that we very much enjoy attending as much as we can. Here's a nice little documentary behind the show and how great it is to see comedians, writers, interesting people tell stories in the patio of a book store in Echo Park.
