I think my problem with making AUs of existing media and putting my other favs into it is that.i really like making them boring and uninteresting…..?
I was thinking about what kinda quirk/superpower animal crossing characters would have if they were in mha (because I enjoy that show for the superpowers I think they’re cool) and was like “yeah if Wilbur was in it he’d.still be a pilot”
No hero work.no villain occupation. He’s just a guy….which I enjoy but the other part of me was like literally no one will be interested DONT CAAARE I do it for myself always and only.. I love background characters
Ive read all the mephinite fics on ao3.... now what....
Luca Guadagnino understands the universal human need to watch two hot people make out.
I just started on pg15, the final one in pt1 of the Isaac Tails...
So close... I’m almost there...

Spring settles fully on Kyoto just as Sasuke settles in the ryokan. At the beginning of April, a sudden frenzy takes possession of the foxes, making even Kushina more excited and restless than usual, which is nothing to say of Naruto.
He explains with great emphasis and elation, that they must prepare for the Inari-sai.
Karin is the least enthusiast of the lot since it means extra work for her at the shrine, but she’s bad at pretending that she doesn’t look forward to it too. The Inari-sai is the most important festival of the Inari Shrine, for the humans and the foxes alike. The humans will pay their respects to Inari as they inspect the fields and cultures – farmers will pray for good harvests, young couples for fertility, the blessing of a child.
The foxes will collect the prayers and offerings. And they will pray, too, in the hopes of seeing their god.
To say nothing of the yokai population, who will want to thank the foxes of Kyoto as well, for their watch over the city. Already the ryokan is more populated than usual, and the mood is festive, bright with blessings and good wishes.
Though one day, as they are busy hanging additional paper seals to the walls and ceiling in the sitting room, on account of the sudden pick in spiritual energy threatening to burst out of the ryokan, Kushina stops in her tracks and focuses on something outside of their perception, as if trying to hear someone talking very low.
“Ah,” she says, bothered. “Haku is coming.”
Karin rolls her eyes. Naruto winces.
“Damn, I thought things would be too busy again this year,” Karin curses.
“Come on, it’s not so bad!” Naruto protests, though it’s half-hearted. Sasuke is about to ask when the bell rings.
In comes a beautiful, ethereal yokai in the shape of a young woman, wearing a kimono embroidered with complex patterns of fish and waves, undulating as if alive as she steps into the guesthouse. There is an elaborate piece of jewelry tying her hair together, but the most important detail is the paper umbrella she carries. She folds it shut upon crossing the threshold – it immediately starts to drizzle outside.
Ah. So that’s why they didn’t want this Haku to come.
The ameonna smiles softly, truly a sight of wonder, with her delicate traits and the careful waves painted on her face. For all their earlier complaint, the foxes greet her warmly.
“Haku! It’s been so long, how are you?” Naruto says, jumping toward the shy yokai.
“I’m sorry, I had a lot to do. But I’m happy to be able to be here this year. I didn’t want to miss your festival yet again.”
She seems to be a good friend of the family. But of course, her presence means no chance of a sunny, cloudless Inari-sai.
“If you’ll have me,” she adds, a little unsure. The foxes might have lamented so about her arrival because they knew there would be absolutely no way they could turn her away.
“Don’t be silly Haku, you know you’re always welcome among us,” Kushina assures her. “Naruto will settle you into a room, if you’d like? And then you can all go to the shrine to check on the preparation.”
The ameonna smiles gratefully and Sasuke feels a little blessed. The rain-bringer don’t have the best reputation, yet they are usually gentle and sweet, if full of melancholia.
She follows Naruto upstairs. Karin resumes her grumbling, complaining about the upcoming rain.
“Don’t be so negative,” Kushina says, teasing. “Who knows, Haku might help us bring on a sun shower this year!”
“Mom!”
“What? I long for a fox’s wedding, but neither of you can make an effort for me!”
“Ask Nagato then!”
“Oh, I do hope he will come around this year, we haven’t seen him in so long. But what about you, my child?”
Karin splutters, indignant.
“Wh-what about me?”
“Do you think I don’t know about Tsunade’s girls? I know everything, you should be well aware.”
Sasuke has never been Karin so embarrassed, blushing as red as her fiery hair. She storms out of the lobby chased by Kushina’s hearty laugh. Naruto and Haku come back that very moment.
“What did you say?” Naruto asks, half-amused half-condemning, as he can’t quite stop himself from taking Karin’s defense, on principle.
“Oh, just wondering which of my children will get married first.”
She laughs even harder as Naruto mirrors Karin’s reaction exactly, and bolts out of the room.
