Basketball Bros Controls: Two-Player Keyboard Setup
Basketball Bros uses two compact keyboard groups for local two-player matches. The left-side player uses WASD for movement plus G as the contextual action key. The right-side player uses the arrow keys plus L. Because the action changes with possession and position, treat G and L as context keys rather than “shoot only” buttons.
Before the first match, click inside the game frame and let both players run a ten-second movement check. If the arrow keys scroll the page, the game does not have keyboard focus yet. If a laptop misses combinations when both people press several keys together, release unnecessary keys and test a different hand position; keyboard rollover varies by device.
Use this setup routine: assign WASD + G and Arrows + L, confirm both characters move, test one attacking action and one defensive situation, follow the live prompt when it differs, and agree on a restart rule for lost focus.
