Boruto headcanons of being Saradas older sister and two years older than Sarada and Saradas older sister is Matatabis Jinchuuriki, the two tailed beast due to a training accident that almost ended her life when the punch that Sakura landed on her eldest child which shattered her spine and pelvis ..headcanon of Sarada seeing her older sister and Sakura (her mother) crying separately because of it. Sakura blamed herself for using her supernatural strength and Saradas older sister blamed herself for not being careful enough during training.
Note: Omg, thank you for this ask! I had so much fun writing this. Tbh, I kinda started writing it and then the whole writing got out of hand as the whole thing developed towards a direction that I wasn't expecting at all.

It was pretty obvious that eventually the new generation would one day ask their parents for a training session, though none of the parents would ever go as far as to hurt their children, not intentionally...
As the elder daughter of Uchiha household, you were the first to hit the academy and would earn your chunin rank much sooner than your younger sister Sarada;
You showed great potential during training, much like your uncle Itachi, excelling in everything that was thrown in your path;
It was with great confidence that one sunny day you asked your mother to be trained in power play - a speciality, which Sakura had learned the hard way from the 5th Hokage and the Legendary Sanin Tsunade Senju, the granddaughter to the God of shinobi;
You had already mastered a sharingan with three tomoe and wanted to step up your game to an even higher level;
Sakura went heads into the challange, showing great speed and stealth in dealing with her daughter, but despite her superior strenght it wasn't so easy to match the Uchiha heiress, who successfully knew how to avoid an attack, when she wasn't powerful enough to repel it;
After taking your time to analize Sakura's attacks, you finally went heads on to repel her strike, however, the person coming at you appeared to be a shadow clone and before you were able to react you felt your breath leave your chest as a bone-shattering punch was landed at your midsection from the back, sending you flying three and a half meters;
You coughed up hard, leaving a pool of blood form around your mouth;
You remember hearing the painful screams of your mother, who tried her best to heal your wounds, however, instead of feeling better you found yourself loosing your last breath;
The pain was unimaginable, agonizing as you were rushed through the halls of hospital;
You were connected to the lastest technologies in order to save your life, yet even that would not be able to repair your shattered pelvis and lover half of your vertebrate;
Only hours after your hospitalization, Sakura went into shock and blacked out, and since Sasuke was still away on mission, Sarada was taken in by Boruto, who did not give more detailed explenation than that of a training accident;
Your nervous system was greatly damaged as well, making you paralyzed from the waist down;
Your every breath felt like pain and at one point, whilst conscious you had the impression that with each intake of breath your lungs were becoming bigger and pressing at your broken back bone;
As your life hung on the verge of death Naruto decided to negotiate with the Kumogakure to allow Matatabi, the Two tailed biju to be implanted inside of your body;
Unfortunately, the negotiation wasn't an easy process, especially since the tailed beasts were the greatest assets of each great nation and in order for this transaction to happen, you would be forced to leave Konohagure and become a shinobi of the Kumogakure, the Hidden cloud village from the Land of Lightning;
At once Matatabi was transported to Konohagure, however, to avoid public scandals, the opperation would be done at the former headquarters of the ANBU Black ops;
The opperation was then followed by a hospitalization, that lasted a week, during which your body was fully healed, but the process of getting used to your new body was only beginning;
Thankfully enough, your father returned back to Konohagure and would help out Sakura a great deal, as she was still suffering from PTSD, unable to cope with the fact that she had nearly murdered her own daughter;
The whole thing was held at a tight leash and would not be revealed to Sarada, who had struggled to keep a cool head, whilst her mother and sister were in hospital;
Sasuke was in charge of your 6 month rehabilitation process, after which you were forced to leave Konohagure, as stated by the mutual agreement between the 7th Hokage and the 5th Raikage;
You stared out of the sealing-to-ground lenght window of your new (and permanent) residence, watching as the village was swept inside thick, white clouds;
Between all the mist of the scenery, you somehow were able to pinpoint the exact moment, when Sakura landed the fatal blow, which had killed you, the former you - a shinobi of Konohagure;
Surprisingly, you received a warm welcome from Kumogakure and were given a luxurious apartment, but what's even more - the people did not fear the fact that you were a jinchuriki, which took some worries off of your list;
Here you were nearly treated like a princess, an exotic spesimen with a pale skin, black hair and the most misterious onyx eyes;
As you finally cought glimpse of your own reflection in the glass, you saw the eternal Mangekyo sharingan staring back at you.
Note: some of you might be confused of why the Raikage simply just didn't gave up the tailed beast, just for the sake of the girls life; the thing is, I just don't really believe that such thing would happen - a village willingly giving up one of it's greatest assets for nothing, so I thought it to be reasonable, that they would want something of equal value in return for saving the girl's life by such means.
