This house was a curious sight. Increadibly large, with an iron spiked rail along the gate to keep out intruders. On anyone else, it would have worked. However, Rachel was not anyone else. She’d scaled wall at the back of the house, thick leather gloves making the iron redundant. She flipped in, her body rolling smoothly, before she landed on the ground softly, her illusions muffling it more than it would normally be. She slipped up to the house, and made her way around the side, before finding the servant entrance. All of these fancy type houses had them. A brief illusion was cast and then she slipped in, indistugishable from the servants. She managed to find her way to the main house before she got lost, confused by this maze of hallways. Then, she heard someone coming. They stepped loudly, purposfully, as if they commanded the place they were in. They’d see through her illusion easily. She cast her eyes around, and found a door nearby, not locked from the look of it. She slipped inside.
A quiet sigh eminated from her lips. She seemed to be safe, the steps were moving away from her. But what was this? Steps! She slunk down them, sticking to the shadows until she reached the bottom. The smell hit her first. It was clean. That was unusual for a basement, unless... Someone was here. She stepped out of the shadows, a flame appearing in her hand as she cast her gaze about, watching for anything. There was a bed, and a number of damaged toys. A child then.
“Hello? Is anyone here?”
