WHOA. that k/t office AU is rad! i've never seen the show, but that makes a compelling argument for trying it out. [is it actually that good in that particular way, though?? your writing struck such an evocative mood and it's hard to imagine that the fic isn't, idk, the best version of the show? at any rate, A+++, LOVELY, thx!]

Thank you so much! I reread the ficlet last night when I started getting new notes on it, and honestly I felt a little guilty because the dialogue and plot really are straight from the show's second season, with a little added extra characterization. It's a sitcom, so there's other stuff going on in the foreground (and it's truly one of the funniest seasons of TV I've watched), but the Jim and Pam romance is the quiet main story. I'd definitely recommend watching at least the first three seasons (the first season is only 6 episodes), and maybe the fourth, though it went downhill after that. I wrote a lot of fic for it a few years ago, and it's very close to my heart, so revisiting that atmosphere was fun for me.

It should be a rule that if sciencing needs to be done, the people whose teams are not playing on that specific day are required to take over the work. It only seems prudent.
