33. opinion on the death penalty?

i don’t think it should be a thing. i don’t think that governments should have the legal right to kill people, even if it’s for some sense of retribution. (especially given the uh frequency of false convictions and the reliance on the perception of 3rd parties. like don’t get me wrong i 100% believe in the concept of a fair trial but it’s not a foolproof system and therefore i don’t think it should be used to justify taking people’s life). 

36. do you believe in ghosts?

nah. i’m more of a “the consciousness exists because of the brain so when the brain dies everything does” type of person. but that’s just me.

Hey there I read the post you made about being bisexual and afraid to tell people in your real life. I feel I really relate to that and I’ve only told someone through text. Ive never even said it aloud to myself. I don’t think I’ll ever tell anyone else outright tbh cuz I feel really doubtful about it and I know many won’t agree. Thank you for being strong I hope one day you will live your truth too!💕

The only time I ever told anyone was through text as well and here on Tumblr. I only said it out loud once to my therapist and that was a different situation. Actually saying it out loud to my friends was probably the hardest and most terrifying thing I’ve ever had to do but afterwards, I was filled with such a relief, especially after they were so nice about it. I know what you mean by many won’t agree. That’s why I’m doubtful I’ll ever get to the point where I decide to tell my family. But at least now I know there are two people who know the real me, and for now, that’s enough for me. Thank you for your sweet message and I truly hope that one day you’ll find someone you can be truthful with, best of luck! 💗💗
