hi! I'll be 19wks tmrw! my doc said most 1st-time mamas don't feel movement til 22wks cuz they don't realize what they've been feeling. it's so cool! if this kid is half as cute as Mia, I'll be stoked. did you ever post pics of her finished room? XO

I just finished season one and I CANNOT STOP. a (male) friend of mine said it was an “emotional journey” that he wishes he could relive for the first time.

YES. My friend said she was in complete mourning, and when I told her it doesn't get old watching it over and over and over and over again she said almost the exact same thing. The first time is the best. Savor these moments in your life.

pardon my ignorance and incapability of interneting today: when is your 10-miler? is it the soldier field one?? I want/need something to train for ... your posts motivated me and I ran TWO WHOLE MILES TWICE this weekend. and then I was mad at you becuz I'm rull sore; it's been fuuuurever since I ran. we should long-distance co-train, tho I will NOT be running 10 miles anytime soon.

This is probably the first and last time I will ever serve as a motivation for another human being, so it’s going on public record! Great job! Any 5ks in the area coming up?!

YES, I’m doing the Soldier Field 10 Miler May 24 (Memorial Day Weekend). I just convinced my mom to buy me this tank for the race (okay it wasn’t that hard, my birthday is coming up so it’s a gift).

I am all about this long-distance co-training. I’m running four miles this evening if you’d like to join. You’ll probs be in my imaginary tumblr running club anyway (creep alert) (slash crazy alert) so you might as well eh?

what I REALLY wanted to write as a reply, but I'm arbitrarily trying to act like a lady for once in my life: there's only one thing I can think of that you've not mentioned trying, one which also makes me guess there'll be a boatload of babies born in Chicago btwn July 2014 and January 2015 because everyone's been so sad and cold and ENDORPHINES/SERATONIN/HORMONES + HEAT. use protection? or don't? shruggy guy.

This made me laugh rull hard, so it goes public, sorry for outing your non-ladyness Nicole.

I should have noted that I ALSO haven’t see a-town since Sunday, which has contributed to my bad mood.

Tomorrow I’m going to SLEEP IN, force myself to go for a run, dinner with a-town’s parents for his bday, then a bachelorette party. Sunday I’ll probably go to my running group, one of the guys is leaving for Austin Monday.

ALL THE SPRING/SUMMER CLOTHES. Ummm probably sandals. I am SICK of boots. I don’t even think I’ll be excited to wear them again when fall comes around.

I took my shoes off to look at this! They are pretty damn equal, but I think it’s my right.

Chocolate anything. I’m really bad at those “best thing you ever ate” because any dessert is the best dessert. But ice cream is my favorite go-to.

Tonight we’ll be at the game so whatever is cheapest, LOLz $8 beers. Overall beer intake will be a lot though, yay birthday celebrations lasting more than one day!
