Honestly Nef seems like the kind of person who other people find a little bit intimidating but she's actually just the biggest softie in the galaxy. I can totally imagine her cockily flirting with someone and then being a complete disaster lesbian the instant they flirt back.

I love this 😂 only one and a half things are right but it’s still an excellent take. I will still be posting more concept art as part of character studies/development so I’m interested to see how perceptions change from here, without revealing any of the backstory in writing.

so I never even thought about a Lexi-Shiala ship before but between reading Surface Tension and finding your art.... it's become one of my favourite ME ships (also it's uncannily like my girlfriend and I in a lot of ways, except if I had a leather jumpsuit like Shiala does I'm pretty sure she'd be constantly stealing it) so.... thank you for giving us the amazing ME content we need! :D

Lexi/Shiala started out as a random idea from an unrelated topic, but it’s grown over time through many discussions in our server. We’ve come to love the dynamics of the relationship, so much that it got me started on drawing them just a few days after it was first mentioned (I, too, relate to certain feelings that were explored in that fic, which is the whole basis for how they came together). Very much glad to hear that you like them as well, and thank you ^^

For those who haven’t read or are curious, I highly recommend Surface Tension by @theivorytowercrumbles​​. It’s currently the only fic in the tag, but it’s a damn good one if you want to explore this rare pair.It’s without a doubt one of my favorites.
