Scott tried convincing himself that this wasn’t the best option. He tried for weeks, going through every possibility in his mind. In the end, it still came down to this. He had his backpack packed with just the essentials. Anything else, he just had to earn it when he needed them.
He hadn’t told anyone about this except for him Mom. It kind of came with the territory of living with someone. Scott knew she was hoping he’d stay but she did what she always has, she supported his decisions even the ones she hated. He wished he could stay for her sake but that wasn’t an option. After everything with the Dread Doctors, he just couldn’t. What Theo did was definitely extreme but all that had happened did open up Scott’s eyes.
His pack was broken.
It was more than that. Theo showed him that he was to blame. He may have not meant to, but he pushed his pack and they crumbled under the pressure. It made Scott realize that he was the one weakening them and if anyone was to survive in Beacon Hills, they needed to take out the weak link. Maybe one day he can join them again, if he ever becomes a better alpha or just a better werewolf. But for now he had to leave Beacon Hills.
That was exactly what he was doing now. Scott had already said his goodbye to his Mom. He didn’t want her here when he did this. It would just weaken his resolve. Scott picked up his backpack and helmet before going downstairs. He opened the door, only to find someone standing on the other side.
Shit.
