@amoralgeneticist - Couldn’t have a positivity meme without mentioning my favorite Moira mun and one of my absolute favorite people. They’re so kind, driven, and overall supportive in every way. They’ve been around since before I started nursing school, and they’ve been such a big part of keeping my head above water. Besides being an excellent human being, they give Moira a depth of character that I’m all over.

@plcyersandpieces - Not OW but don’t much care. A super sweet person, excellent writer, with flexibility I really enjoy. Since her blog moved to a multimuse I’ve enjoyed seeing her skills used with other muses. I need to get my Merc muse fired up again so I can get some replies out! Speaking of which, hers are always worth waiting for.

@twotailshakes - Jigs is always down for the best stuff man. The most creative AUs (read: outlandish) with the most tenuous grasp on canon always come out stellar with her and it’s so much fun to go down all those rabbit holes. And her McCree? Stellar. I didn’t even ship McMercy until she got to me. Always ready to spin the wheel and throw another dart.

@silvcrphantom - Yet another amazing OC mun! I love the grasp she has on her muses and how very sweet she is. She’s excellent at checking in and staying in touch, which is great news when I get stuck in a whirlwind of assignments and administrative fuckery. Plus she’s a blast to be around!

@thxlionsdxn - how they manage to keep track of so many muses is like??? really impressive. all will’s muses have a distinct voice and in my opinion, it’s such a hallmark of an excellent writer to be able to write so many muses at once and still have every one sound different? *chef’s kiss*

Do something once, and it’s an accident. Do something twice - still a coincidence. Three times? Now that’s a pattern, and Gabriel knows all about those. He makes a living analyzing them, quite enjoys it too. But this? This is a pattern he can’t quite put his finger on. Not yet.

Not that he’s complaining, mind you.

It’s a habit they’ve both fallen into with a few stumbles and stuttering limbs, awkward and tentative. 

Gabriel is, if nothing else, ever too used to suppressing the urge to press his nose in someone’s neck, instincts getting the better of him unless he keeps them on a tight leash. There’s no time for it, he’s a Commander, not some whimpering pup.

Enter Jesse goddamn McCree.

So here he is, again. He’s letting Jesse press him against the wall for some reason; it feels balanced like this, a little less like he’s cornering the kid like some mindless knothead. His stomach twisted and turned the first time, but now he folds willingly; head tipped back against the wall and fingers loosely curled in Jesse’s hair as the younger man presses his nose against Gabriel’s jaw, breathing in softly.

They linger in each other’s scent a little longer every time, and Gabriel can’t find it in himself to stop it.

Not when Jesse’s humming softly as his lips brush over Gabriel’s neck, so evidently pleased with what he’s finding that Gabriel tips his head back further, giving him space to work.

Only for you, pup.

He crashes headfirst into and through another carefully set boundary when Jesse pulls back and Gabriel finds himself holding his chin, gentle but insistent; presses his lips against Jesse’s to taste himself there, warmth and arousal and a hint of something soft, like coming home.

If three’s a pattern, he can’t wait for what four might mean.
