There is every bit of a chance that anyone you run into are one of those people who love you unconditionally for who you are. You are important. You are special. You are just as important, MORE important, than any of those hateful individuals who are wasting their lives bringing other people down.  Be upset. Be scared. Get through those feelings you have every right to feel. We’ll be right beside you the whole way through, and we’ll make it to the other side together.

ughhhhhhhh that's the worst, it's so annoying when people who don't know shit about hinduism or indian cultures latch onto a couple of aspects of it and act like they're ~so enlightened~ for bastardizing other people's cultures

What’s a new year’s resolution of yours?

I have come up with two so far and one is to not hate anything or anyone because hating is almost never constructive I think, it's way better to keep a positive outlook if you can.  And the other one is to floss.

Do you think you’ll actually keep it?

I will certainly try on the first one.  I hate flossing but now I have an obligation to myself to do it so maybe I actually will.  I did it yesterday so I'm on the right track~

What fandoms are you in?

Sherlock is really the only one I'm super into.  I also like the Avengers and Star Trek but I don't really obsess about either.

What’s the last thing that made you smile?

A story my friend told about his friend drunkenly and unsuccessfully trying to seduce him

Where’s your favorite place that you’ve been? (could be a city, or just a location in your town)

I love Chicago so much.  The University for the most part, but the city itself is also gorgeous.

Do you play any instruments? If so, what?

I play piano, guitar, and I used to play clarinet but mostly not really on that one

What’s a story (book, movie, song, etc.) that’s altered your perception of life?

The Fault in our Stars is the biggest one, I think.  Gus's outlook on the world reminded me a lot, almost too much, of myself, and it made me think maybe I should change the way I look at some things.  I mean to, but it's hard.

What are your plans for the day?

Endings and beginnings.  A lot of both.  What with the whole "going away for college" thing.  Or my "bittersweet" year, I think.

A friend that I really enjoy talking to messaged me  :)

I don't know as much about life as I think I do.

Uhh, some horror movie called like the Haunting in Connecticut 2 or something along those lines.  Didn't care for the movie so much, considering it was like 4 am and I kept falling asleep periodically through it.  Wasn't very scary either.  I did enjoy the company though.

I kind of like Scarlet, but it's a bit pretentious.  I'd go with Carmen, probably, mostly just because I really like the Lana Del Rey song right now.  If I was a guy, I might go with Finn or Sebastian.

I had a good time at New Year's, caught up with some old friends and made a couple of new ones.  I dunno if that's necessarily great, but it was pretty good.
