Hello! Thanks for asking my question, but I have another one to ask. Is there another way to seal foam without Plastidip but still keep the flexibility of the foam? Or just white glue and water will work?

White glue and water will work well! Just make sure to do it in thin coats and allow each coat to dry fully before you put the next one on. Mod Podge also works pretty well for this.

Applique or fabric paint? I'm making an akatsuki cloak and can't decide which is better for the clouds. Thank you for taking the time to read this :3

My vote goes for applique! Applique doesn’t have a risk of smudging, it looks higher quality and can allow you to include interesting textures.

So I was working on my Link cosplay so I made the Hylian shield. The only problem is i have no idea how to wether the not silver parts so help?

When weathering, a good question to ask yourself is "what is the story of this object?" What is it made of, what would cause it to wear and what would that damage look like?As a shield, it likely would have been made of metal. It blocks hits, so the damage might be dents. Silver may show through as the paint gets scratched. If it's traveling there may be dirt on it. The metal may corrode, rust or tarnish. Just keep in mind that the more you do, the older and more worn the piece will look. Hi I have a question about your winter soldier cosplay. What did you use to hold the elastic on the arm I've tried super glue which is very stupid of me to do that because it only hardens the elastic.

Okay so what I used is a high heat glue gun. I highly recommend it however you will have to be mad careful because it's easy to burn the crap out of yourself when glueing. I think you will experience much more better results than with the superglue though. And don't think it's stupid, it's actually really not stupid, it's just a learning experience.

Five minute epoxy would probably work too if you just hate high heat glue, I use five minute epoxy for everything (up to and including dental appliance repairs) and it is an absolute charm, but I think high heat glue is going to give you the most flexibility. :)
