inspired by dnd stuff cause making monstrous characters is so much fun! and the number of races there are too is amazing!
This lizardfolk is more chaotic neutral, doing things inorder to survive, also not hesitating to bite or claw anyone they don't like.

Leona: What the fuck are you and why do you act so weird? this is the mindset of many students at NRC. He doesn't like you at all, you are weirdly unreadable but also act like a wild animal so as long as he gives you food you usually give him no trouble. also, doesn't like you cause you remind him of a certain other lizard.
When he overblotted he did not expect you to start biting and scratching at him, not even caring if your own claws were turning to sand or anything. He gained a lot of respect for you and your tenacity to fight even without magic. Tries to understand some of your viewpoints due to how you grew up survival of the fittest, with no rulers or kings.
once you are on better terms he kinda adopted you to his pride, and likes to sleep with you when you're laying in the sun due to being coldblooded. teases you a bit but not as often due to you usually not understanding his humor. You sure are a weird one, Carnivore.
Ruggie: Nope! big scary lizard and he knows that look in your eyes, he's seen it far too many times in the worst areas of the slums he lived in. where many would have to live like animals to survive. appreciates your appetite and how you gather and eat just about anything you can get your hands on.
Hates how creepy you are and how you react to moral conflicts but he does have to admit that it does make some funny stories to tell later. Was super surprised at your bravery/stupidity fighting with no magic when he was getting sanded by Leona. Does appreciate that you saved him. Helped you with some recovery items and chatted with you when you both scavenged and foraged. understands some of your thought processes and tries to teach you how to work with society.
never used his magic on you after the first time since you threatened to eat him if he ever did that again.
Jack: He did not like you at first. Especially since you tried to eat him when you fought in the courtyard before he joined your team. Very wary of you, at least until Leona's overblott. Was amazed at your technique of taking on Leona yet not turning to dust immediately. honestly looks up to you from that point.
Happily spars with you to improve his strength. you lick his wounds when all is said and done. He protects your back you protect his. You've melded into his pack life better than most other beast men in his dorm. Has to explain a lot of social norms to you but is happy to do so in return for good fighting techniques and duels. Also watches over you when he notices you in the sunlight warming up.

he honestly thought you were a bit mindless with how little you talked and how you acted like a wild animal most of the time. Has heard horror stories of you biting and clawing anyone who tried to attack you. In his contract in book 3, if you had failed there was an extra bit of loss for you. He would have you locked up and shown off like a wild rare animal that he thought you were.
he was proven wrong when it was revealed that you using Leona’s abilities and connections to destroy all of his contracts. He even screamed that you were heartless and you just calmly state that you do what’s needed to survive, it he was in the way then that’s his fault. That sent him off. So when he started stealing magic in his overblot he tried to target you but you destroyed and ate like 4 of his tentacles. He was so scared of you after he came back to reality. Eventually warms up to you a bit. You remind him of Floyd with how you react to things, and like jade as you watch and observe and plot so effortlessly.
Jade: How very interesting~ is his whole mindset. he asks so many questions and tries to understand how you stand socially. happily misguides you and misinforms you to see what chaos will ensue. He has also tested how many mushroom dishes he can give you. you never tired of them since food is food to you, and he immediately liked you from that point onward.
Now that he likes you he takes you on some hikes and you show him how to forage through marshes, getting even more rare and dangerous mushroom species. He continues to mess with you, but if trouble arises, he will correct and guide you to what you should do next time.
During book 3 he was rather surprised at how violent you became when he tried to stop you and the others from reaching the museum. was actually surprised that you were able to scratch him despite his toughened skin and slippery slime. amazed that despite being underwater you moved quickly and with deadly grace. also helped launch you at Azul when he overblotted.
Floyd: New friend? squeezing?! chased after you and asked a lot of questions. annoyed you a lot, so when you threatened him he just laughed. you slapped him and left a deep gash on his cheek from your claws. He had stars in his eyes. Immediately apologized and asked you even more questions and would not stop bothering you. Eventually, he won you over with his good cooking and gifts one he squeezed gathered the info that you were easy to win over with the right food.
You were both now the terrors of the school due to him teaching you that if anyone bothers you you should just squeeze them. is surprisingly good at handling you once he understands how your mindset works. also enjoys causing chaos by misinforming you and watching from the side, but doesn't step in if trouble arises, he knows you can handle yourself more than fine. He also laughs and joins in the fight. both of you are the biting menaces of the school and rabies shots become mandatory after too many incidents.
in book three he was rather excited to mess with you, as a bit upset that you actually beat him and jade at their own game. also mad that you were able to actually avoid their magic and attacks and hit them pretty badly. When azul overblotted it was his idea to launch you at Azul to subdue him due to how much magic and how difficult it was to get around the tentacles. follows you so much because he likes you and you're so interesting! also comes to you when Jade is going a bit mushroom crazy.
Diasomnia
Malleus: You showed no fear toward him. He could relate to you being a reptilian humanoid. He even let out his dragon tail to show that he was similar to you. Instant connection. Especially once he started bringing you meat and other goods to gain your trust. has seen your incredible strength and agility when you took down a moose that started to charge at you two when on a walk. He's offering the heart of his hoard, please be his, he knows you can handle yourself.
He's not the most knowledgeable in emotional norms so you both connect and try to figure out others' emotions together from context clues, etc. never wants to fight you since he could easily hurt you with his magic. you often try to eat the glowing green orbs that float around him, this makes him laugh. Makes sure you are comfortable and offers to warm you with his own fire if you get too sluggish from the cold.
All in all, he loves and relates to you on multiple levels.
Lillia: never in his many years of life has he seen anything like you. Immediately interested. He does his scare tactic on you and you nearly bit his head off. He's lucky he got really good reflexes. For a while, you saw him as an enemy and tried to attack him any chance you got. Eventually, it's explained to you that it's for fun, no harm meant. and slo with a food piece offering. Literally, just raw seasoned food made by the fae himself. You were then happy to be friends.
He watches you spar with the others and gives tips. Loves you for trying his food and being brutally honest. teaches you many different fighting techniques to improve your skills and gives you more options to be as unpredictable as possible. Likes to learn about your people's way of life and share some of his jungle/swamp travel stories. Respects you but still pulls pranks.
Sebek: Thought you were a super cool lizard fae. Boy was he wrong. Has heard of your crazy adventures and actions from the other first years. Honestly wanted to see it for himself. Loudly insults you and was surprised that you didn't care about what he said. He asked you to a duel and you did NOT hold back. almost bit off his hand. Appreciates your natural weapons but now you are also on a pedestal just below malleus in his head. Tries to protect you from others when he's around you. Hates your bluntness and tries to show you how to talk more formally. It doesn't work. and you just end up learning to yell really loudly. somehow that's worse.
joins you and Jack's weekly sparing matches. enjoys the training. Also lays in the sun with you due to how he gets cold quite often. He knows you won't hurt him unless he throws the first punch. brags to silver whenever he gets a hit on your scally hide. also boasts about you to others and spins your already badass stories into even cooler escapades. does like to share some meat with you every now and then. also respects you due to how you can eat pieces of Lillia's cooking due to your ability to find anything edible and be able to stomach it.
