Lilia: We ran into the princess of course and she almost zapped me were it not for Darkbane shielding me and giving her a cold warning glare...
Darkbane: *Smiles into his tea, taking a sip*
Lilia: Oh, then Darkbane brought me to the sweets shop where we got all the desserts from!
Darkbane: They were for Lilia to eat but he insisted on sharing with you heathens...
Dew: *Gasps* How dare you?!
Draconix: *Smirks* Heathen I may be but Lilias favorite brother is what you're not~
Darkbane: That's not true! *Looks at Lilia* Tell him I'm the favorite sibling!
Lilia: *Looks away, fiddling with his thumbs*

Bonding Family Ch 4- Fidget
Livia laid asleep in bed, her side rising and falling. She rolled over onto her back, a small smile on her face.
"Princess, it's time to awaken."
Her eyes opened and she yawned as she sat up, stretching. She rubbed her eyes, ready for a new day with her family.
"Morning princess."
She froze knowing that voice, her head slowly turning to see Seraphia standing there. Livia flew out of bed, glaring up at the woman, ready to defend herself if she needed to.
"My my, for someone so adorable you are so very feisty! Makes me hate you so much more"Seraphia smiled looking mockingly down at her.
"Are you going to tell on me to your uncle, his majesty, the emperor?"
As much as she wanted to...she wasn't gonna snitch
She could handle the Senates back in the Valley of Thorns picking with her!
So she most definitely can handle this on her own, nobody looks down on her and get away with this!
"I'm no snitch, you can dig your own grave for all I could care"Livia snapped giving her a cold smile.
"DUCHESS SERAPHIA, HOW DARE YOU!!?"
Harlia moved in front of Livia, Wolfe snarling at the woman. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO INVADE THE PRINCESSES ROOM, THE EMPEROR SHALL BE INFORMED!"Harlia snapped pointing away.
"A measly maid like you talking to a duchess that way"Seraphia mutters lifting her hand.
"AUNTIE VINAYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"
Everyone froze at Livias yell, the sound of running heels filled the hallway and a second later Vinaya rushed in, throwing the doors open.
Vinaya looked at Seraphina, her eyes widening. She stormed over and slapped the woman, a furious look on her face. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY NIECE!? WHY ARE YOU IN HER ROOM!?"Vinaya yells glaring down at the stunned woman.
Livia stuck her tongue out at Seraphia from behind Wolfe and Harlia, clinging to her maid and guard.
"GUARDS TAKE DUCHESS SERAPHIA AWAY AND MAKE SURE SHE'S UNABLE TO ENTER THE PALACE!"
Two guards came in and grabbed the woman, ignoring her protests as they dragged her out.
"Livy, sweetheart! Are you okay!?"Vinaya demands checking the girls face. "Yes Auntie, I'm fine"Livia smiled her aunt pressing a kiss to her cheek.
"How pathetic, calling my mom to your aid."
The boy with the dreads to the side stood there, cold blue eyes staring her down, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Fidget, be nice to her! She's your baby cousin!"Vinaya scolds gently pinching and pulling her son's cheek. Fidget huffed, looking embarrassed as his mother babied him.
"Livia! Meet your cousin Fidget! He's the youngest of all his brothers and the Crowned Prince!"Vinaya smiled looking over at Livia.
Fidget made a face causing her to perk up at the sight, wondering if like the others he had problems like Junpel.
"Oh Livy, sweetheart! Get dressed, breakfast should be ready soon!"Vinaya smiled ushering Fidget away.
"Hehe, okay Auntie!"Livia beamed waving to them.
She turned to Harlia and gave Wolfe a dismissal signal. The guard bowed to her and left the room, allowing Harlia to prepare Livia for the day.

Livia beamed running down the hallway ahead of Wolfe and Harlia to the stairs, her ponytail gently swaying behind her. She stopped at the stairs, getting ready to hop onto the railing. A pair of hands shoved her, a small gasp coming from bee. She turned around as she fell her eyes widening at the sight of Fidget standing there.
"PRINCESS!!"
Wolfe threw his arms around her, grabbed the rail and slid down, landing on his feet. He set her down, his scowling gaze turning to a startled Fidget. "YOUR MAJESTY!"Wolfe yells. He froze when a hand grabbed his sleeve, his gaze darting down to Livia who shook her head.
"Let it go, he's not worth our time"Livia orders looking at Fidget with a cold look.
She turned and walked away, Harlia fixing her ponytail as the trio made their way to the Dining Area. Guards opened the doors letting her through, revealing her uncle, aunt and eight of her cousins at the long table.
She stared then perked up when her aunt beckoned to an empty seat beside her.
"Morning!"Livia greets hurrying over and taking a seat. Fidget walked in, looking nervous as he made his way over and sat down between Junpel and Spencer.
"I heard that the Duchess found her way into your room."
Livia looked over, noticing her uncle's eyes were glowing with malicious and angry intent. "Auntie Vinaya took care of her! She was so amazing!!"Livia beamed, her auntie looking embarrassed.
Lilac took his wife's hand, giving her an amused grin looking fond of her. "I know, I married her"Lilac chuckles.
Maids entered the dining area, bringing in their breakfast. Livia smiled as the maid removed the top from her plate, revealing pancakes with sausages, an omelet on rice and biscuits.
Dessert was set down as well, which were root beer floats with chocolate scoops topped with a cherry.
She giggled, digging into her breakfast, her uncle smiling across the table as her cousins gossiped with one another.
"Livia wanna go take a boat ride?"Spencer grinned looking over at her.
She nodded excitedly, giving him a beaming smile, "YEAH!"
She coughed and covered her mouth, feeling weird for some reason. Her hand lowered, blood coating her thumb.
She stood up, signalling Harlia for a handkerchief to borrow. She hurried over to her personal maid then suddenly threw up blood. Arms caught her, Fidget holding her up.
"POISON!!"
Fidget quickly carried her to the next room, the running feet of everyone else following.
"LIVIA!!!"Vinaya cried her eyes wide. "Your majesty! Stay back, let Prince Fidget handle this!"A guard orders, Lilac rushing in.
"Drink and swallow!"Fidget commands holding a cup to Livias mouth.
She threw up more blood, Fidget trembling at the sight.
He pinched her nose and poured the liquid down her throat causing her to choke.
She sat up and threw up the poison, small seeds hitting the ground. "AH, HE DID IT!"Izek yells relieved rushing over. A maid held Vinaya back, Lilac standing not far from her his eyes turning dark red.
Fidget held Livia close, looking stunned and worried. "LIVIA!"Vinaya cried reaching towards her as she came close ignoring the maids attempt to stop her.
Livia fell unconscious, her family members crowding around her with expressions of anger, terror, concern and sadness.
Fidget stared down at her, his lips pursed together then bowed his head wondering why he saved her.

Bonding Family- Prologue
Livia ran through the castle, her pigtails ying behind her as she rushed to class. Her hands shoved the door open....
Only to find no door in front of her......
"EAHHHH!?"
A shriek of surprise followed as she fell stomach first to the ground, groaning as she said up and covered her chest feeling a stinging pain coming from around there. "Are you alright?" Her eyes widened as she looked up, finding a man standing there. A long brown haired man stared down at her, his skin tone reminding her instantly of Kalim, Aldi and Jamil. She blinked twice, looking stunned to see his eyes were a sparkling cobalt blue. He held his hand out, smiling down at her. "OH! Thank you!"Livia gasped taking his hand and standing up. "PRINCESS!!" Raviola quickly rushed over with a shocked look, Zander a step behind her. Both fussed over Livia, Raviola making Zander and the strange man turn around while she checked the girls chest. "Does that hurt?"Raviola asks looking worried. "Not anymore"Livia answers sighing. Raviola sighed in relief and smiled. "That's good, I'm glad"Raviola smiled.
"Can we turn around now."
Livia stiffened as the room started glitching around her. The room turned shades of orange, red and gray as her gaze turned to the strange man. A glitching Raviola stood with the man in her grip, a knife stabbed into his abdomen. "How dare you..." Her eyes darted to Raviola, finding the woman glaring at the man.
"YOU DARED ENTER THE PRINCESSES PRIVATE CLASSROOM!??"
Raviola drew a knife from her sleeve, blood appearing and vanishing rapidly on her hands and dress. Livia stiffened, needing to do something about this or things were gonna go to the grinder.
"RAVIOLA!!!"
Livia threw her arms around her personal maid, giving her a wide smile. "Princess, what are-"Raviola begins alarmed. Livia smiled wider at her. "I'm really thirsty, I was saying your name but you wouldn't answer me"Livia says giving her an innocent expression. The woman gasped, covering her mouth with her free hand. The knife vanished as quickly as it arrived and she bowed deeply. "I will go get you peach tea, princess"Raviola promised. The maid turned and hurried out, leaving Zander and Livia with the mysterious man. Livia glanced at him, noticing how intently he was watching her.
Was there something he wanted from her? She couldn't tell with how blank faced he was..
He didn't seem all that dangerous but she's learned to stay cautious of people.
Was he gonna rile up Zander next?
"What's your name?" Her eyes widened at the question, now looking at the man. "My name?"Livia asks curiously. A curt nod was her response, his eyes staring into hers.
"My name is...Livia..."
His eyes widened slightly, mouth slightly opened. "Vanrouge?" She perked up, wondering how he knew that.
"How'd you know that mister?"Livia asks turning to him.
The man stepped closer and took some of her hair in his hand, his eyes wide. "Is your father....Lilia Vanrouge?"
She stepped back alarmed, Zander moving in front of her with his arm out. "How do you know that!?? I don't know you and I'm sure Papa doesn't either!"Livia yells.
The man just stared at her.
Cobalt blue meeting a bright golden yellow.
"I'm your Uncle, Livia....and your Papa's elder brother."
"My name is Lilac Vanrouge...."

Livia laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. She sighed and sat up, throwing her blanket off. She got out of bed and lit a candle, grabbing the handle of the candle carrier. Stepping out of her room, she headed down the dark hallway, her hair gently swaying behind her. Silence filled the castle, servants at home, guards keeping post, Malleus and Maleficia asleep in their respective rooms. The council members are all asleep at their homes and will arrive again early in the morning. Raviola and Zander returned to their home as well, so the castle was a comfortable quiet.
Aside from the pitter patter of her bare feet.
....and the sound of shoes coming her way.
Her body froze as a figure came into view from the shadows. Lilac stared at her, holding the handle of the candle carrier, a lit candle on it. "You're awake as well, can't sleep I see"Lilac greets. She stayed silent, wondering why Lilac decided to appear now.
Where was he when her Papa was alone?
Why didn't he try to connect with Papa a long time ago?
Why appear now...why come out of nowhere?
Did he know who she was?
And.....
Why had he abandoned her papa all those years ago...?!
Lilac stared at her and as if he saw her thoughts he suddenly spoke.
"I thought your papa was dead."
Her eyes widened, looking alarmed by the sudden confession, a new series of questions whirling around in her mind now but Lilac continued, "When he was a baby, our eldest brother, Darkbane, turned to the dark side, he wanted Lilia gone and none of us wanted that."
Livia watched the man's expression shift from regretful to angry to resentful to sad.
"Darkbane found the Basilisk and the Basilisk stone and lured us to the tunnel where he tried to make us hand over Lilia but we held our ground against him."
Livia watched as Lilac gripped the handle of the candle carrier, his expression one of pure anger and self loathing.
"I-I ran...they all yelled at me to run so I did, I ran with Lilia then I hid him since Darkbane petrified everyone else and chased me but when I came back.....he was gone."
Lilac stood before her now silent, a face filled with regret and pure sadness now etched into his face. His hand trembled as he bowed his head in shame. Her eyes remained on him, feeling bad for him now that she's heard what happened. "Did you search for Papa?"Livia asks.
A regretful nod was her answer from the silent man before he spoke again, "I searched for four hundred years, everything led to dead ends, even when I returned to the Valley I got no information..."
Her eyes narrowed, wondering if the Senates turned him away and lied to him or even Mayhem back before he chilled out.
"Uncle Lilac?"
Lilacs head shot up, his eyes wide in shock. Tears filled his eyes and he looked away. "I do not deserve to be called that."
A small smile appeared on her face, watching his tears finally shed. "Uncle Lilac tried his best, nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes...."
"The most important thing is you tried for Papa....to protect and find him..."
Lilac covered his face with his free hand, tears finding their way through his fingers, trailing down before finally falling and hitting the ground.
Livia smiled at him, "Uncle Lilac.....I'd like to get to know you better, if you'll let me.."
Lilac looked at her, lowering his hand slowly. A smile slowly spread across his face then a shaky nod followed.
"I'd like that very much, Livia...."

Uncle Lilac
Lilac: *Sits in the garden asleep, his head resting on his hand*
Livia: *Stares at him surprised* Should I leave...he looks so peaceful...
Livia: *Grabs a blanket and pulls it over her uncle*
Lilac: *Smiles at Livia, his eyes opened*
Livia: OH! UNCLE-
Lilac: *Hugs her tight, chuckling* Thanks kiddo...
Livia: *Smiles as he let her go* No problem uncle...
Livia: *Perks up as her dress changed, her hair now up in pigtails*
Lilac: That looks better on you, your father said you love pigtails as well...
Livia: *Smiles* Thanks uncle
Lilac: *Pats her head* Of course
Lilac: *Sits her on his leg, a hand on her back* What brings you to me today?
Livia: *Smiles wide* I saw a pretty bird today!
Lilac: *Chuckles, smiling at her*

Livia: *Reaches forward, running towards him, her hair in pigtails*

Fidget: *Grunts, a dagger missing his heart* HUH?!
Livia: *Glares at Percolie*
Fidget: Perco...why...
Percolie: *Draws his sword, glaring at them*
Fidget: *Grabs Livia's hand, bolting away* DAMN IT!!
Livia: *Lifts her dress, hurrying after him* Why don't you use your magic?!
Fidget: THE FLOWERS KEEPS US FROM BEING ABLE TO!! RUN TO THE ENTRANCE!!
Livia: *Gasps, tripping over her heels*
Fidget: *Looks at Livia, releasing her hand then grabs her, carrying her as he bolted*
Livia: *Shrieks in alarm, a hand grabbing her hair, snatching her backwards*
Fidget: *Stares with wide eyes freezing as he turned*
Livia: FIDGET GO!!
Fidget: *Glares at Percolie* You....let her go right now..or else...
Percolie: *Tilts his head to the side* Really? Or else what?
Fidget: *Scowls, black flames surrounding his hands turning into bats* I'll kill you....
Percolie: With her right here?
Fidget: *Flinches, his eyes wide*
???: We found you.
Fidget: *Moves back alarmed as Percolie fell over foaming at the mouth*
Lilia and Lilac: *Stands there, their hands raised*
Fidget: Father? Uncle?
Lilia: *Cups Livia's cheek, his eyes wide as he checked her* Are you alright?!
Lilac: You okay, son?
Fidget: Why....how..did you-
Livia: DID YOU BOTH KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!?
Livia: IF YOU DID KNOW THEN WHY DID YOU LET US COME OUT HERE BY OURSELVES!!
Fidget: *Stares at Livia stunned* Huh...
Lilia: We had no idea, Livia...
Lilac: Did you think we'd recklessly throw you kids into danger?
???: THE BABIES!!!
Vinaya: *Hugs Livia and Fidget* YOU'RE BOTH ALRIGHT!!
Fidget: *Stares as his mother moved away* Huh...
Lilac: Son?
Fidget: I thought you guys hated me...I-I thought I wasn't wanted...
Lilac: Why would you think that?!
Vinaya: Fidget...
Fidget: Whenever I tried to get close...you'd always push me away, say you're busy...leave me alone for days to weeks even on my birthday...
Fidget: When Livia came, I hated her so much...she had what I wanted....a family who gives her attention and affection and is almost always with her....the people who give her a shoulder to cry on
Fidget: I hated her!! But I couldn't bring myself to hate her forever! She's my cousin and she's the first person who started giving me genuine love...
Livia: *Stares at him stunned*
Fidget: I kept saying I hated her...but in reality I loved her so much, and I was so grateful to have her with me..
Livia: WELL?! WHAT DO YOU BOTH HAVE TO SAY?!!
Vinaya: W-we have no excuse Fidget...but believe us when we tell you we love you so very much, even when work kept us busy and we weren't allowed to see you for days
Lilac: We never meant to hurt you..and make you feel alone, it was so very wrong of us as parents..no matter how busy we are, we should be able to find time to spent with our child..
Lilia: I agree there, dear brother...
Fidget: *Trembles then wails, tears falling down his cheeks* I HATE YOU!! I HATE YOU BOTH!!
Vinaya and Lilac: *Hugs Fidet, holding him between them* We're sorry...
Fidget: I HATE YOU GUYS!!
Lilac: We know...you can...
Fidget: *Sobs, clinging to his mother* I..love you both...
Vinaya: We love you too, Fidget...
Lilia: *Hugs Livia silently*
Livia: Papa? You okay?
Lilia: *Chuckles* I just wanna hug you..heh

Vinaya: *Smiles* Livia does bring families together...her own blood especially..
Lilia: *Looks at Livia* Yeah, that girl loves all of her family members, she's a blessing in disguise when it comes to bringing them all together

Livia: *Sips tea with Hoax* Did we?
Hoax: Weren't you two the ones who destroyed teachers things?

Hoax: After my parents passed and my grandmother cared for me, I've always wondered if I had other family, then I met Livia....
Hoax: Turns out she's the cousin who's been sending me letters wanting to meet
Livia: But according to Hoax, he never got them!
Hoax: Then I checked your rooms....I found over fifty letters hidden away in your wall behind the wallpaper...
Hoax: *Glares at them coldly* I'm on my cousin's side now...so beat it
Harris: *Looks at Livia* YOU!!
Markus: YOU PURPOSEFULLY GOT US IN TROUBLE!!!!
Livia: *Stands up and looms over the boys, smiling* My manipulation is E for Everyone, except family of course!
Livia: It's your faults for falling into my game of chess
Hoax: Cousin, I have lost my will for tea!
Livia: Agreed...let's go see Grandfather Spencer!
Hoax: *Nods, turning away when Harris and Markus looked desperately at him* Yes!
Livia: *Smiles at Harris and Markus* My way, my way or the high way!
Hoax: *Walks out after Livia*
