A/N: LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN!! THEY ARE LIKE THE PERFECT FIT FOR MY BIG THREE.. 😭 (Renée + Ian + Lilith)
The morning breeze hit the taller girl as she opened the windows in her room. She looked out to watch the birds for a few moments. Two birds made their way to a tree branch. One of them was a black feathered swallow and while the other one was a little sparrow. Together, they chirped, creating a harmonious melody. Melanie smiled at the sight of it and watched them since it reminded her of Malleus and her. Suddenly though, she heard a light creak coming behind her.
“Good morning, Mellie...” One of the prefects said groggily, rubbing her eyes while her hair is a mess. “It looks like a peaceful morning came today, right?”
“Good morning, Renée.” She said with a smile, “...Yeah, a peaceful morning indeed.”
Renée stretched a little and let out a quiet yawn while covering her mouth.
“Did you sleep well?” She asked as she always does.
“I did, thanks for asking.” The princess replied, her radiant smile beaming like the rays of the sun.
“I think others are asleep. Shall we prepare the breakfast together?” She said, twirling her hair. “I can always help.”
As they made their way down to the kitchen, she felt something wrapping around her waist. When she looked back, she noticed that it was actually a part of hair, slowly pulling her closer to the source.
“I.. have a terrible habit of hugging people when I wake up...” Renée said while wrapping her arms around her as she let go of her with her hair. “Let me know if it makes you uncomfortable though...”
“It’s alright, don’t worry...” She replied. “I don’t mind.”
“Okay...” She replied while letting go of her. “...Let’s go then.”
She walked to the kitchen in front of her right after saying it, causing the taller girl to laugh a little.
He was laying down on the couch when a white owl flew through this head, landing just a bit above to the said couch.
“Your aim’s a bit off, Ian!” They replied with a smile. “But you should be careful not to hurt yourself.. It’s not good, y’know?”
The owl boy turned to his real form and shook his head.
“I just wanted to hug you though..” He said, pouting. “I know you are worried about me always flying at you like this, but I’m fine!”
“Geez, you’re so childish...” They playfully rolled their eyes and walked to him.
“Ummm... By the way, could you please bring me some ice..?” He shyly said.
“M’kay!” They replied while making their way to the kitchen.
At the same time, Ian slowly turned and held a hand at his bleeding nose and sat on the couch. He knew he could do better at containing his excitement, but why would he do that when there are so many awesome people around?! He smiled at himself and sighed.
By the time the zombie came back with an ice pack, they immediately noticed Ian and pulled his hand away to put the ice pack.
“Ahaha~” He said as he slightly winced, “I-it hurts...”
“I told you it was dangerous.” They lightly bonked him in the head.
“Nope, no buts.” They said while keeping the ice on there.
She sat on the couch in the living room while resting her head at late night, contemplating if she should go to her room despite not having the slightest bit of sleep in her eyes. She looked down at her hands, which were pale, almost doll-like with her freezing blue fingertips, as she recalled old days in the past. She looked at the ceiling and sighed.
“I wonder how Anne-Sofia is doing...” She quietly said, knowing the rest of her dorm members being asleep at the late hour.
She got off the couch and made her way to the kitchen to get a glass of water with some painkillers for her headache. As she poured some water into the glass, a ghost appeared. Although she looked different from the Ramshackle ghosts, she immediately knew who she was.
“Lilith.” She sighed, “I suggest trying a different approach if your intention was to scare me.”
“I wasn’t though.” The ghost grinned, floating upside down above her. “Just checking in to see if you’re alright.”
“I am.” The ice fae replied curtly.
The ghost before her floated next to her and turned back to her human form.
“You clearly have something in your mind. Care to share?” She raised an eyebrow while sitting next to her.
“I do not.” She sharply replied while glaring at her. Then she put the pill in her mouth and chugged the water down.
The girl with two toned hair smirked.
“Alright, whatever you say.” She said before going back to her room.
‘Geez... This girl really knows how to anger me...’ She thought to herself before going back to her room as well.
