Visited the Twisted Wonderland Glorious Masquerade/Playfulland Cafe, and it was delightful!

Hi YuuRei! My apologies if this is silly, but with the photos you shared from the Glorious Masquerade and Stage in Playful Land cafe experience, are those illustrations depicted new/specifically done for the cafe? They look different from the card art, and I love seeing the new poses!

Yes yes, much like the Halloween cafes in 2022, there are special illustrations in the Glorious Masquerade/Playfulland cafes!

These illustrations can also be found on certain merchandise: ・Limited-edition trading cards (available only from the cafes) ・Card-type coasters ・Acrylic stands!

They also offered limited-edition merchandise of cafe illustrations!

Twisted Wonderland Cafe

The Halloween-themed Twisted Wonderland cafes are here! Running in four locations until early December, visitors who make advance reservations receive a “photo frame style” clear card!

One of the four dishes offered at the Twisted Wonderland Halloween Cafes: waffle-style pancakes with apple pieces in yogurt and a mixed fruit side.

The other three options are Grim-style, soy-cream pasta, a ghost-theme hamburger with tofu tartar sauce and tofu keema curry.

Today is the last day for the final Twisted Wonderland Halloween-Theme Cafe location in Osaka!

Pictured is the Grim-theme, soy-cream-pasta with fruit side and salad, and Scarabia's bottle set (tastes like oranges!)

The other three dishes were a jack-o-lantern-theme, tofu-keema curry, NRC-waffle-style pancakes with yogurt and a ghost-themed tofu-tartar-sauce hamburger.

My expectations were not super high (theme cafes in general seem like they would be more about the aesthetic, atmosphere and the experience than the food, which is perfectly fine), but actually everything tasted really, really good! Was very impressed and so glad I went!

The Twst Cafes are back for their 3rd run starting from October 7th, and this time the theme is Halloween!

The four cafes will offer Grim’s soy cream sauce pasta, a ghost burger with tofu tartar sauce, jack o’ lantern soy meat keema curry and NRC waffle-style pancakes.

There will also be a selection of dorm-specific drinks, hot tea and a ghost smoothie.

The four cafes will be hosted at the following locations during the following dates:

Omotesando (Tokyo) - October 7th - December 4th

Shinjuku (Tokyo) - October 8th - November 27th

Osaka - October 7th - December 11th

Nagoya - October 14th - December 4th
