I wanted to take this time to express my gratitude to each and everyone of my Tumblr friends who took the time to check on me and sent me some very wonderful and caring messages to make sure I was doing ok during the terrible storm that overtook my beloved State of Texas. Thankfully, me and my family made it through safe. We were very thankful we had power, to keep us warm and food and water to keep us nourished. I will admit, there were a few moments where I was concerned and if the unimageable happened I was hoping I had somewhere to go for warmth. Thankfully, I was not faced with that concern. This storm was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced and will never forget. Now, it is slowly getting warmer, the snow is melting and the streets drivable. Once again, thank you all for your support.

Today is the last day of January. After today the year will no longer be new.
