Okay, I’m sorry but couldn’t Mulder have apologized/showed any sympathy for queequegs death in quagmire???? Like I know he can be thick but… I feel like he really could have shown more emotional sensitivity to Scully here. :(

Mulder I love you so much, but like. sir. This woman is your partner and literal light of your life, and she’s grieving over her dog that died like 10 minutes ago but you barely even notice because you can’t stop looking at shitty pictures of the Walmart Brand Loch Ness Monster??????

scu11y22 X-Files TXF 3x22 Quagmire 1.Did you remember what the episode was about before you watched it? Yes, I remember Scully's dog and its demise. 2. What was your favorite overall scene? I love the ending scene. Mulder's face and his wistfulness and wanting to believe in Big Blue. He never looked so handsome, oh and the toad licking scene. 3. What was your favorite MSR scene? The opening scene in the car. The playfulness of the banter. Scully asking him what he's leaving out. What he isn't telling her about the reason they're headed to the lake. Fun. 4. What was your favorite line from the episode? "Here be monsters" AND "Dude, you made me drop my frog." 5. Was there a creepiness factor? The Ick factor? Aha moment? Floating body parts and all the scary movie moments. Especially people turning their backs on Mother Nature and the WATER. Hello!!! Don't do that. lol 7. Do you know of any random facts about the episode? (BTS, in-jokes, music) No, but I laughed throughout this entire episode. What was your favorite overall scene? Mulder's private breakdown at his mother's bedside. It was devastating because I just kept thinking about all he's lost in his life. 3. What was your favorite MSR scene? Scully telling Mulder that people can recover from strokes. She was trying to ease his pain and worry. 4. What was your favorite line from the episode? Mrs. Mulder to CSM: "I've repressed it all." 5. Was there a creepiness factor? The Ick factor? Aha moment? I was so grossed out by Mulder's mother's history with CSM and their "relationship." Ewwwww 6. What are you looking forward to moving forward? The next episode because they left us hanging!! I have to say the early years had awesome season finales. 7. Do you know of any random facts about the episode? (BTS, in-jokes, music) Jeramiah Smith will return in season 8 in "This Is Not Happening." And he disappears before Scully can get him to bring Mulder back to life. I screamed with Scully. It was so devastating.
