we need to hype up older women's bodies more because I respect actresses' boundaries in not wanting to film scenes with too much nudity etc regardless of their reasons. but I think that if women over 40 weren't told they're past their prime and basically assumed and expected to be insecure about their bodies we could increase the quantity of milf sex on my tv screen by at least 40%

okay I was talking to a myoot about this a few weeks ago. the absolute sisyphean weight that GA is carrying in this scene because. this is? three seconds of film? and she manages to convey that 1. she’s proud and excited to tell him that she has a date, 2. she wants to appear aloof while doing so, 3. she wants to see how he reacts to this knowledge, then immediately 4. she’s a little embarrassed at having felt all those things because they’re flirty and not professional, so 5. she tries immediately to get a handle on herself and return to being Professional Scully.

Walter Skinner is a single mother of two of the most difficult kids ever. He hates them. They run away whenever he turns around, they bite other kids, they crash his important meetings, and they abuse their authority as FBI agents. Naturally, he sends them to bed with no dinner, but that's mean and goes against the parenting books so I guess they can have the X-Files back. They break vases around the house and blame it on aliens, which doesn't look good in a report please find a more believable suspect please. They've pulled a gun on him (On multiple occasions). HOW DARE YOU PUT EITHER OF THEM IN DANGER! He will kill you for doing that! Threatening them is his job and- Hey!- DON'T GIVE HIM PARENTING ADVICE! Dana Scully is a very accomplished agent AND a medical doctor. and Mulder hasn't bitten anyone in 2 days.
