he's checking in. on her. on sally, and on percy. it's been years since he has spoken to her, and percy? he's only ever interacted with him when he was a baby. but that doesn't mean he hasn't been watching. sally had been right, to keep him away from camp half-blood - despite poseidon's recommendations and opinions. because percy jackson has grown into someone who is a credit to who his mother is at her core, and whilst he doesn't believe he has a right to be, he is still so very proud of him; of them both.
