my opinion on;
character in general: Talon is something very, very unique, as far as my knowledge of sci-fi action comics - a married woman who still manages to kick some serious ass, and a mother, to boot. That’s not something you see every day. I also really like how healthy the marriage actually is. Both Talon and Thrawn genuinely love and care for and respect each other, and it’s really refreshing to see an honestly happy couple amid all the ill-fated romances and would-have could-have beens Star Wars is known for. And, let’s face it, a chick who is politically powerful, strong with the Force, and just plain hardcore? More like sign me the heck up right now. She’s come so far, and survived so much hardship, and damn if she didn’t come out swinging. She’s just such a strong, powerful, hardcore, beautiful woman, and she really does do a fantastic job of making the Dark side look appealing. how they play them: I’m pretty sure Satan here actually works for Marvel or Lucasfilms or maybe even both, because this is some kind of on-point quality, here. And by some kind I mean the absolute best kind. Every side of Talon is captured in Satan’s writing, from the brutal Lord of the Sith, to the cunning Empress, to the doting mother, to the trauma victim trying to overcome the insecurities born of what she survived. All in all, a really multi-faceted portrayal that I’d 10/10 recommend to literally everyone. Yes, even you.the mun: I’m pretty sure Satan here is as close to being an angel as you can get while Made Of Sin ™. I remember being really nervous about approaching her, at first, and within minutes, we were screaming to each other about our children like it was the most natural thing in the world. We only headcanon-spam and IM-jam every so often, but it’s always a good time! And, if I’m being honest, she’s partially to blame for this smol scruff getting his own blog.
