i'll be honest getting a pair of kittens is probably one of the best decisions you can make, they're small and soft and warm, and they'll love you, and it's hard to be upset when they're around tbh, i've had mine for like a week and a half and they've improved my mood by 500%, and BONUS you get to watch them grow up and develop their personalities and go from little sweet kitten to big sweet cat. if u can, go to a rescue shelter and get urself a kitten or cat (older cats r good too!!!!!! they will love u too!!!!!!!!!) and be Happier

i super-cleaned my room so the kittens could stay in here safely and oh goodness. i set up their litterbox and food and everything so they sleep in here at night and during the day when our older cat doesn't wanna see them. i made a little staircase out of books so they could get on the bottom bunk of my bed easily and they LOVE it it's so cute... about fifteen minutes ago aslan just walked right on up and onto my bed and then on my chest and he's currently asleep under my chin..... seph followed him and now she's sleeping/purring curled into my side and i'm like Wow..... truly, just being around kittens like this is very therapeutic

okay so the kittens are So Cute...... there's aslan, he was a runt and he's orange and tiny and very lovey and not afraid of Anything. like we introduced him to our hundred pound german shepherd and he was just like "oh hi! hello! you're my friend now, i love you." and he wants to be held or pet All The Time. my mum picked him out and he was all alone and it was sooo sad how badly he wanted to be out of that cage... he purrs a lot and he does the sweet lil face rub thing a lot too. sweet kitty then there's persephone, i named her and i've been calling her seph, and she's silky and kinda long-haired and bigger than azzy even tho she's two weeks younger. she's way more shy and wasn't so sure about the dog, but she's very playful and likes her toys and makes these weird lil mrrpy noises when she's excited. i picked her out and i love her, this morning she chilled out enough to come sit in my lap and let me pet her and she purred and purred and purred. she's gonna be real pretty and elegant when she's older, i think she's at least part maine coon, and she's lovely and dark and stripey. she gives tiny kisses sometimes and will charge at your ankles as you're walking by if she thinks you're not paying attention so yes i love the baby kittens we're taking them to the vet today to get their lil sneezes checked out!!

i try to act like i have my life together and have control of my feelings but in reality today i almost started crying because the pretty barista i've only seen once before remembered my order perfectly and complimented my hair and my outfit and i'm almost completely inept at accepting positive things and unexpected kindness
