Da In peers out the window, brows furrowed. She swears she heard something rustle--did she just imagine the movement behind the bushes? Long fingers release their hold of the curtains, the sheer fabric covering the window like it did so earlier before she pulled it back to check. “Sachi,” she calls out, unconsciously wanting company to somehow put her at ease. “I think the delivery dude is here, you wanted chicken, right?”
Hearing a distinct reply from her bedroom (for whatever reason, Sachi liked going there), Da In simply picks her wallet up from the counter and proceeds to answer the door when a few knocks came sounding from it. She opens it not a moment long after, offering the guy a small smile. He doesn’t return the gesture, quite frankly, and just remained there; he doesn’t even lift the paper bag that held their orders.
