It's been exactly a year since I got my first voice over job! I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't looked at a journal entry I'd written in a different notebook. So, happy one year anniversary to myself!
Okay, if I get done editing this audiobook this week, I will buy trails from zero and trails to azure as a little gift for myself. Just so I have them in my library and when I inevitably start the trails games fr this time.
so my library holds an annual book sale every year and it starts today and ends on sunday. It starts at 4pm and so all I could think of ever since waking up is, "book sale? book sale now? books! books! books!"
It is currently 2:23 pm and i am just waitinggg.
First draft is sitting at 28, 791 words!! I'm happy I've been consistent (the most consistent ive ever been) with my writing. I'm also happy that I'm chipping away at this crazy humongous story bc who knows how long it'll be? It'd be so amazing to have a full first draft by the end of the year or finish one of the acts in full. (It'd make more sense if I explained, but I'm kind of scared to talk about it online lmao. Basically its in non-sequential order so the reader has to piece the plot together bit by bit.)
During the month of April, my goal is to write 5x a week for the month and see what happens.
Since it's not gonna be raining and snowing at the same time around 12am, I'm gonna do something dumb. I'm gonna take that opportunity to record the remaining three chapters. It may take me a long while and I know I might mess up my sleep schedule, but dammit if I don't want everything recorded. It might take me three hours 😭 but I will try!! Might even keep you guys updated. I am trying to take an opportunity here bc there won't be any cars zooming past where I live. I might even record an audition.
The more I look at art the more I want to pick it back up again. I want to make pretty illustrations with loads of color
