Is the last chapter of Those You've Left Behind coming anytime soon?

For the “I wish you would write..” ask, it’s super hard to think of one cause you’ve basically written at least 70% of my dream Matt/Foggy fics. So does it count if I mention a fic you’ve already written but haven’t finished? Though bear in mind this is absolutely NOT a guilt trip. Just me bemoaning as a huge fan of your writing. But I sort of wish you’d finish writing “TYLB”. Just cause it’s the most cathartic premise for a DD fic I’ve read. I haven’t found another one like it and basically I’m desperate

Ahhh, TYLB... It haunts me, truly. So much of it going forward is tied up in trying to figure out how to make the plot of Defenders less... Whatever it is. I still haven’t quite figured it out just yet. I’ve read/listened to a couple of rewrites people have suggested, so I’m trying to avoid the pitfalls others have pointed out in the canon telling, while not making any new ones of my own. Honestly if anyone’s got thoughts on that front I’d be happy to hear them. Right now I’m just vaguely trying to cram together: more screen time for civilian bffs, Elektra with actually cool powers and a satisfying arc with autonomy, Matt remembering how to Be A Person Again, Letting Davos Be Good, Fisk-Hand Grudge Time, and making the Hand more interesting and formidable. Which is. Like. A lot.

Will you be starting any other fics after TYLB?

I will! But not for a hot second I think. I think after TYLB I’m going to take several weeks where I just catch up on sleep/hopefully update Eden and I Know You. After @ohmightysmiter and I get back from Texas, I’m hoping to start my next new fic!

Hey everyone! Just letting you know that the epilogue for TYLB won’t be out today. In an effort to make it as satisfying as possible, it’s going to take me a week or so to get it finished!

Hi hi hello!

Unfortunately, it’s probably gonna be a one update week, but for exciting reasons!

I have a job!!! And while I am literally so fucking excited to be rejoining the workforce after a full year on unemployment, it’s go. A cut back on the time I can spend writing.

Also! I am taking my first writing course! It’s been really great and informative so far, but I’m now splitting my diminished writing time between fic and my assignments.

But! Crazier things have happened, and if I do you guys will be the first to know 🤗
