She got the news from Sirius, he came over after talking to Reg making sure his little brother was taking the news well, it had taken about a dozen times for Sirius to repeat the news before they sink in, Andromeda kept replying “But he’s just about to come, we were suppose to go to the movies together, he’s just about to comer…” she repeated not able to shake the shock from the news.
Her breath caught in Andromeda’s throat when Sirius hugged her, it wasn’t that he didn’t hug her often but it made it all so much real, “I’m suppose to teach him new things, and we’re suppose to try a new flavour of ice cream…” she swallowed hard, “He wasn’t done yet, Siri, he wasn’t-” she couldn’t finish her sentence because a sob interrupted, and after that came another, and another, making her a blabbering mess hugging Sirius tightly to make sure that he wasn’t gone too.
