except for electronic voting, we're nowhere near that being secure enough. paper is fine.

Yeah, I wouldn’t advocate an immediate switch to it or anything, but I think we’d be fools not to consider it in looking towards voting solutions in the future, especially in things like ranked balloting where giving the data directly to the machines would make tabulation easier, paper is definitely fine but if we’re reevaluating voting systems and methodologies we shouldn’t leave electronic solutions out in the cold because they’re currently underdeveloped

People's ideas change really slowly normally. If someone is changing [their opinions] based on the opinion of others, it is likely their opinion has not changed. They are just saying it has. In the background, she will continue to do what she wants. Like how she "told the banks to stop that".

And I’m like: please think about the fact that you are both basically saying that people changing their minds by taking outside input into consideration is wrong

I hear you. Tough criticism against an old english epic poem, but I hear you. Thought about Shakespeare’s sonnets but those were 1609.

There are some sonnets in our textbook, and Will's sonnets are beautiful, but the Shakespeare people really need to get accustomed to is the hilarious parts that actually made him popular with non-aristocrats and I don't know any sonnets that do that -.-
