Honestly, it's probably his teammates that think it's a waste of time, lmao, but Seiji has always been keen on pottery, gardening, and researching old battles (both human wars and the Soul Society's).
Even though he was born into the Soul Society, the only superstition he harbours is not speaking ill of the dead. He believes in proper etiquette when attending the graves of the fallen.
Despite this, Seii doesn't buy the idea of vampires or werewolves. He believed the majority were likely hollows that were misconstrued. Although he believes that there might be demons (or at least fractured or transformed souls) inside Hell's realm.
