I haven’t written in so long that I feel like I have to apologize for the rarepair fic that I managed to coax out today. I’m sorry to the prompter, and to Charles. And Logan... None of them deserve dealing with the poor characterization.

7 hours and 10,000 later, chapter 2 of “Under the Sea” is finally finished. This is the first chapter story I’ve finished in 11 years. Hopefully I’m a little more talented now. I guess I’ll really see when I go to edit the thing before posting.

I don't even know. I mean, that's such a horrible universe with all those pretty fake smiles, phone addiction, sweet lie and such. The idea is good, very interesting, but do we want such place for them?

That’s actually exactly why I’m interested. Maybe Magneto would be highly rated for his rhetoric, and Charles would try to understand how Erik has a 4.8, while he only has a 4.5.
Or maybe they’re both super high and need a place to just relax, and discover that neither is as fake as they put themselves out to be.
Or maybe Erik has messed with his rating system by using the electric atoms so that no one can rate him higher than a 1, and Charles doesn’t understand why anyone would want to live like that.
Regardless, it’d be interesting to see how mutations would fit into that world.
I done normally like soulmates AUs but that was really clever and well done!

i have written three different version of this stupid fic, and am sick of it. tomorrow i reread for edits and post it on Ao3, because there’s an entire other world that I didn’t explore and I promised myself that any multi-chapter things would go on Ao3.
So I’m missing all of the new footage from the DVD release. Please be patient. I have another two weeks before I can binge-scroll through tumblr, and then all my followers will have to experience the rush of XMA gifs again.

How about a Cherik prompt that goes something like... It's x-mas time and at a party Erik and Charles go a little overboard with the eggnog etc. They have been flirting for a little while, but it's all just fun and games, right? But then they somehow find themselves in a room with a copying machine, left to themselves....?
